@Halo3Sniperhelpers Because Vista tought U was an other user, lol. It always asks permission, and when you click YES for the 3d time, it says, U dont have admin rights. U can turn UAC of though.
@heavenofficial im 11 and i got the business edition but now i have got windows 7 enterprise and my vista crashed 6 times because i wanted to play flight simulator.
People say Vista is more stable than XP because in the CPU, the drivers and kernel are not in the same ring, but, to be honest, all Windows PC's crash. I havent seen any crash or freeze while using Apple's Snow Leopard, seems better over Windows.
@heavenofficial rofl then you either a.) never used Vista aka Fist-ya or b.) were only using 08/15 hardware and software or c.) are one lucky son of a bitch
home premium doesnt crash on its own...unless u do something stoopid like... "Are you sure you want to move System32 to the recycle bin?" plus ur recycle bin looks full so i suspect u ended csrss.exe or just deleted system32 lolzorz iim so smart jk >:D
I have been running Vista Ultimate for about 6-7 months now and I have experienced the infamous Blue screen once. Whole screen went blue, with no text for about 5 seconds, then the system reset. P.S. videocrazy60, Ubuntu IS awsome.
it's not illegal. If you buy the OS then you can install it to the virtual pc and use it for beta testing or if you don't want to overwrite XP you can use virtual PC.
Good.. but i'm downloading xp sp2 as i write this, how do i put this on virtual pc? I paid for ot and everything!!! was it a waste of time/money/memory?!?!
The reason you got a BSOD is because you ended an essential process for Windows Vista. At least you know you are allowed to have the rights to end those essential processes :)
Virtual PC's are virtual systems that mimic the actual components of your physical computer. So, the Virtual PC runs as a program, not as a component of the operating system itself. Ok ok... if you wanna know these then here...
Q1:Why did it give you a BSOD?
A1:Because you ended a system task also ends explorer which is needed to run explorer.exe
Q2:Why does it say Access denied?
A2:Because you have to have to have admin to do that.
Q3:Why wont allow me (same as Q2)
A3:Because you may have a program blocking you from ending the task.

Yes, you can use 2.85gb as highest of RAM on 32bit, on 3.00gb or more you MUST have 64bit version o_O

Wait... so your computer only has 1 GB of ram and you´re trying to run virtualization.....

To tell which bit system u have.
1. Go to start.
2. Right-Click on Computer and select properties.
3. This will open a System Window and it will tell u all the details about ur computer, even what bit system u have.

I can made a BSOD in Windows XP in the task manager by closing some system processus !
Vista hasn't got lots of BSOD...
Mag1cWind0w 3 years ago
ok... a pair of things...
first, i can make windows vista crash in just one second... it's enough to terminate a system crucial process and everything will be down..
what process did you shutdown in first?
second... i've vista HomePremium SP1 on my pc and i've seen BSOD once. and at next reboot vista warned me for the cause of that: wrong driver...
so it's basically hard you'll get that think if you don't do anything stupid...
