  • I could not have picked a more annoying music loop myself.

  • @backtublive you must be young if an emulator is "good enough", most people want to play on the old hardware like they did as a kid.

  • Thanks buddy, it worked, but after the guessing game of "were goes the 20 million screws" it needed some gold old fashioned head bums to finalize the connection^^

  • fixed 2 consoles like this. thanks!!

  • this is actually all wrong

  • @BOATRIGHTGOLF I want to know how this is wrong? If its junk and not going to work why not fix it? Then again you sound like some one who lives in the throw away age, if it wont work get a new one. I have worked in about 4 shops that does tv consoles vcr ect and stuff like this is super common.

  • I have a Nes the games work but the controllers doesnt ! Please help my nes !

  • @pcgamerRauno

Uh, no you do not. Maybe if you're trying to emulate PS2 games. You can emulate from the oldest systems to PlayStation just fine with a single core processor. I know, since I used to play them with that setup before I got a better PC.

  • one of the connecters broke off i bent it back and it worked for a day it broke again is there any way to fix that with out buying a new one?

  • @AGamersPointOfReview Nope!!!!!

  • thats looks too hard, oh i just bought a new one on ebay for 3 dollars

  • Just bought a NES today and mines all blinky the guy said it was cleaned and shit, and i suck at fixing things. Only games that work are Duck Hunt/ SuperMario Bros.

  • adjust all pins. clean with alcohol. clean the edge of the printed circuit board with Brasso then alcohol. That will remove oxidation. It should work well after that. I made a tool to adjust all pins that makes it easy. I can fix one completely in about half an hour. Going to but all the cheap ones on Ebay that dont work, fix them, then post them again.

  • i replaced my 72 with a brand new one and it still has problems playing.

  • How long does this fix work? For years with some random gaming?

  • @kipparimies Hey i fixed my back connectors by taking a dremmel tool to remove the top plastic i did this about 3 years ago i Play my nintendo about once a month since then no blinking lights.

  • @JudgeEden That's a pretty damn ignorant statement coming from someone like you. People play old systems like this because of nostalgic value and old-school charm. You don't get the same feel playing an 8-bit game on a laptop than you do on a TV, and back then there weren't any walkthroughs or good graphics that made the game easy or more engaging to the human eye. It's because of this that you get more intrinsic and long-lasting satisfaction playing older games than you do with newer games.

  • @Disembow1280

I have been using emulators for years and I get the same level of nostalgia and charm comp-ared to when I used to play the NES,SNES etc. It is elitism in my opinion to think you have more nostalgic value tinkering with an extinct system that will die anyway. I am an old school gamer myself, and think games have gotten much better from what they were, and if I miss the old ones, i'll play them with an emulator.

I dont say this to be offending, it's just how I think.

  • @Disembow1280 not only that, internet hasnt existed back then that you were force yourself to go through a game rather than looking up cheats or games you hadnt played before. did i mention most of people back then werent really fanboys. they were mostly on the same level until nintendo split up their license agreement.

  • i need help my power on on super nes not working and how to repair and i have two super nes without working let me know as soon possible pardon me my languaje

  • Excellent video man. I followed your steps and it fixed my NES scrambled screen. Thank you!!! :)

  • thank you so much, i'm so glad i found your video. but instead of a safety pin, i found the flat edged screwdriver from a glasses repair kid works way better. thumbs up :)

  • people please... don't fix that nintendo console just get a netbook and put all the games you want on it and play them with a small joystick

  • @backtublive

It's part of the charm to play it this way :)

    Great vid :D

  • @TheoryZero no the charm is when you see a clear image of what you play , so unless you don't have a good emulator , the only reason to play on a nes is if you have all games and accessories

  • @backtublive

Or if you think it's part of the charm to play it like you did when you were a kid, why play a NES game if not on a NES? It's not like the games were all that great, as I said, it's the charm ^^

  • @TheoryZero hmm i wont have to put or insert , just click and click does that sound more practical to you ?

  • @backtublive Nah. I have both but it's just better on an actual NES.

  • @backtublive Some of us actually like to collect the games contrary to steal the roms and emulate. I guess if you can't afford to collect or just don't care, go the emulator route.

  • @TheNgamerz nintendo can eat me for stealing their roms who cares !

  • @TheNgamerz the controller is better on an emulator cause it's more comfortable them edgy thingy and better show since you can enhance the graphics with some filter abit.

  • @backtublive fuck that

  • @backtublive fuck u dude dont be one of those duches who just put everything on some computer chip where the stuff can never be seen again once it gets damaged or deleted and shit. i dont trust this digital age where everything is going computer and just digital data, good way to lose all ur shit

  • do people need to fix their nintendo console while hearing some mario music ?

  • I'll have to give this a try. I have to push the games in my NES really hard to get them to work. If I just gently push them in, the screen will flash.

  • Maybe you can help me I have a NES system and when I play a game I just like, Blurry boxes and numbers but the bottom half of screen the gameplay is fine, If you know what I mean, Messed up, Glitchy, Blurry, I you can help me or anybody else, Please let me know, Thank you

  • @DaVideoz use rubbing alcahol and a q-tip the warning on the back is a lie i do that to my games and i worked wonders

  • @thefanningofthebooks but be sure to let it dry before putting it in your NES

  • THANK YOU!!! I didn't know what everybody meant when they said to pry up the pins... I presumed they meant the bottom pins, which I couldn't figure out. Then I saw your video and figured it out! My NES is good as new! Many thanks!

  • I installed a new 72 pin in my NES and it's TOO tight. I have to fight with it to get my game back out... should I push the games down until they loosen a bit and then stop pushing them down from then on?

  • go to the nintendo store and they sell brand new pin connectors

  • i did this and it worked for a while but for some reason now it doesnt blink but it doesnt work. i think i just have to clean the connector with some electrical contact cleaner but if there is anything else would someone please tell me i really want to beat double dragon 2 (on the nes not on an emulator)

  • II just cleaned my nes 72 pin conector , I no longer have to even press down the games for them to work , this was really really helpfull thanks a bunch :)

  • You can get a new nes at a garage sale or thrift store for less than a new 72 pin. You can get them cheap on ebay too. I got 11 72s for 5$ shipped. The trick to getting a NES to work first and every time is the games. Keep yours games clean, your nes, and you are set.

    Clean Your Games!

    Clean Your Games!

    Clean Your Games!

  • @mirakles305 thats a good tactic but buying a new nes its just not the same as the old one you know the sentimental value and stuff. i mean unless you havnt had it that long

  • hey i used a paperclip as well! my smallest flathead was way to big

  • if your 72 pin connector is really fed up, you can always spend 7 dollars on ebay and get ur self a new one

  • Mmmmh, thats the thing, I heard in another vid that the games sit really really tight in the new connector aswell, so, it doesn´t make much of a difference, it will still be really hard to get the games in and out, I know thats a goot thing but it isn´t a good thing if the games sit so tight that I almost rip the console off of the table when trying to get them in/out! :/

  • @bonnes876 ya but when you have 4 nes that dont work

right lol adds up and bending them puff just clen it with a tooth bruch

  • @bonnes876 That's what I did!

  • Ok, I did waht you said, but its really hard to get the games in and out now, is that supposed to be that way, I know they have to make a secure connection/good connection, but, does it have to be ...well, THIS hard to get the games in and out?

  • Cool man!
