I agree completely. The Dresden Files TV series is a nice compliment to the book series. I wish the show had lasted. It's unfair that this only had one season. This was the best thing I had ever seen in regard to modern Urban Fantasy on television.

Realistically probably Angel since it was on a major network while The Dresden Files was on the Scifi Channel however as far as Scifi Channel shows go The Dresden Files was not the flop a lot of people tend to think it was. There were times when The Dresden Files even beat Battlestar Galactica in the ratings which is why I can't understand why the show was not continued.

No one can figure out why this show was not continued. A lot of people (including the editorial review on amazon) assumed it had low ratings when really it had very good ratings. It was the third highest rated show on Scifi and that was against Battlestar Galactica, Stargate, Stargate Atlantis, Eureka, Painkiller Jane, Flash Gordan, Ghosthunters, Ghosthunters International, Who wants to be a super hero, Doctor Who, ect... Apparently we women were 'The wrong demographic.'

This was a good episode of The Dresden Files. It's such a shame that shows like this have become rare. They really need to bring it back. This was the first truly great Scifi Channel original show.
