Why the arguement over quads or tenors or sextets? Quads is pretty much a generic term for any configuration of multi-tenor drums. Tenors is pretty standard classification, although most drum corps still refer to them all as quads.

Its not the '04 doublebeat. The '04 Doublebeat has the breakdown 12/8 section after the quad soli at 2:16. This is just the normal Doublebeat. Very clean though, props drumline!

was double beat re-written recently? cause they way we play it at my high school, at 2:28 there is a tenor triplet part. and jmartin you are right. that first snare should be shot. how dare he look down to get the groove right. and the snares need work.

2- the guy on the end would be doing push ups had this been a stricter band

3- those are not quads, those are tenors. they have 6, as the guy below me said

Well... they're not the best college band around. I just think that the sudler trophy is running out of really good university bands to give the award to.... this drumline is not that hot. go check out the drumline at Umass under the direction of Thom Hannum

1. They're not the quads. Quads have four drums. The tenors here have 6.

3. If you're gonna bite off drum corps, play the shit right (i.e. MSU does it, but they do it well).

you do realize they have a completely new corner concert every week....its pretty rediculous to get everything down pat in a week. corps have all summer to do that.
