  • I think black wheels would look nice on this... This thing is awesome man!!!

Bring on the end of the world baby!

  • Great job man... I love it! I added an old clip of my 4X4 Ford Van in the video response...

  • Badass van dude! I'd have to put in a TD though, couldn't afford to run that!

  • Sick man, but why are you idling? Not ideal for the engine

  • Game over, Man...........

  • I keep wanting him to say "Game over, Man!"

  • I recently picked up a 1979 4x4 pathfinder custom in Washington State. I'm looking to install a pop top, 3 or 4inch lift, and custom bumpers. How and where did you find parts for each of these? Are there kits available or is everything custom?

  • You only get more clearance by lifting the axles by using bigger wheels. Why lift the body?

  • @MrConversionVans 37'' tires and all suspension lift :)

  • Yes Clearance!! i see so mant idiots with these 4x4 van talking shit, and none of them shit for clearance! You get Props dude, "Two Thumbs"

  • I am a master certified rv tech and a prepper-if you ever need tech support or have questions, just get ahold me-I would be happy yo help-lets do some solar power on that thing so you can run along time in a bug out situation

  • Brother think about getting thos batteries outside that rig, other than that FORD Rules,Go Big or GO HOME!!!!! Love the 1 ton running gear, keep a cooler on that C6 and you will do just fine,Semper Fi,Keep on fishing and Hunten its cheeper than Walmart

  • he sounds like the guy from cheech and chong

  • Nice

  • Are the wooden cabinets inside custom built or did you get them out of something else? I would love an interior like that in my van! How much did you sell it for?

  • Turn down the idle speed. I think you used about 5 gallons of gas during this video alone! lol

  • @NowLifeStarts It was about 10 degree's and the choke was on. Ha, it used 7 gallons PLHHHT !!

  • esss goooood

  • IT A AWESOME VAN!!!

  • Are you related to "The Dude"?

Awsome Van...I'm in between a pickup and a trailer or a van.

  • Nice job. Too bad you sold the van. You did a lot of work to it. I bet it would have been more comfortable if you had a extended Ford van. Gives you a lot more room. Good luck with the pop up. You should do another video of your 4x4 pulling the pop up. Thanks for posting the video. I love to see creative people customizing/personalizing a vehicle. This is what I do also.

  • How are you heating it?

  • @bradbeckett watched the video? It has a frame mounted propane tank with a catalist wave heater and a space heater when on generator or shore power as well as a mr.heater green bottle back up :)

  • You need to have that carbon monoxide detector down to around 18 inches from the floor. Carbon monoxide is heavier than air. Therefore, it sinks to the floor instead of rising. I know ths for a fact because I'm a fireman. For all of you who buy combination smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, you are wasting your money and not really safe because carbon monoxide sinks and smoke rises. Therefore, the combination detectors can't work together effectively until its too late for one or the other.

  • @MidwestPrepper1776 Thanks for the info !! The bed in this rig is in the pent house "; )

  • @MidwestPrepper1776 Thanks for that information on the CO!

  • @MidwestPrepper1776

but they sleep on the ceiling....

  • @Thepockets88 yes but as the Carbon Monoxide builds up it will begin to accumalte down low, bank vertically, and move upward towards their sleeping area. It moves just like smoke except in the opposite direction. I am just telling you that They should be careful especially since since the CO detector is placed in the worst possible spot and would only go off after their sleeping area was contaminated and may not wake them up if they are already falling under its effects.

  • @MidwestPrepper1776

    yes, good point.

  • A mobile command post. AWESOME sportsmans vehicle. THUMBS UP.

  • Very sweet ride. Good that U have a CO detector many forget about one.

  • Absolutely awesome van!!

  • i often wonder which is more cost effective a van like this or more of a bronco type suv... the van needs to be jacked, the truck would be off the ground a bit anyways

I sold this van,it was a project. Who owns it now? Miss the Adventurer !

  • This van is currently for Sale! 30-k$ in receipts selling for $18,500.00 Most everything is new and built up by a Ford Motor Company Master Technician! A true old school Pathfinder conversion ready for any thing any where!! Has everything one would need and more.

    Built for 2012 ;)

  • Wonderful rig. I'm currently working on an 87. It's only an i6 though... so I'm not sure how much weight I'll be able to add!

  • What I like about your unit is that it is Pre computer chip. If an EMP was ever launched your vehicle would still run. Also, if there was ever a Super Solar Maximum eruption from the sun, you would not have to worry about the electronics of your vehicle becoming disabled. You have an excellent survival vehicle. 5 stars.

  • @johnny102marvin It still has an ignition module. On these fords in this era I always put a spare mod. in the glove box. hence found on road dead. Ford and their ignition modules.boxes, tfi's and so on..thanks though...

  • @johnny102marvin you retard.

  • Sick ass van!!!! I'm building a 79 e350 Quadravan now. Mine has a crank up top too. Im excited to get mine finished. Nice work man!

  • Thanks..Would love to see some pics of your project. Our adventurer camper is now done and has been great .Fuel economy is 10-13mpg but as heavy as it is with gear ,food ect. and pulling to fully loaded 4x4 quads and gear it still has power..

  • Hey thanks,My son and I built this up.Turn key ready to go,food and all.We just finished it so everything is new with very little use..It wheels through the deep snow great.
