@goodpersianboyuk Its not Tupolev. Its just the fact that some airlines aren't the best at, er, maintaining their aircraft. Tupolev aircraft are designed to be rugged, and have safety records, technological failure wise, comparable (and sometimes better) safety records to western aircraft.

Iranian planes have always been in bad condition, even their military fleet is in bad condition.

They should really do something, you are right.

Its cause those bastards in the USA and the European union. Those pigs didnt allow people in Iran to get proper civil planes just because of some political reasons. Iran has boeings in its fleet that date back to the late 1970s. U.S supplied them too long ago, not only that the planes aren't well maintained. Iran can only recieve planes from other nations such as Russia thats why they just ordered some 35 new Tu-204 to replace the old aircraft. Its dangerous for anyone flying in or out of Iran.

The highlight of my trip to Kish Island last november was the two charter flights on Tu-154's down and back from Kish to Mehrabad. The Saha 707 took off 5 mins before us from Kish on the Friday evening flight back. Gutted I didn't get to go on that!
