Daigo's boxer is rigged. Charging when attacking or in the middle of a grab. Too bad in HDR boxer is nerfed and almost useless in tournaments.

You can charge two moves within one charge. Guile can do the same, as can Claw, Honda, DeeJay, Chun, etc.

To use the example of Boxer doing a Headbutt right after a Dash Punch, he did that by charging down and back together. Then you can execute a Dash Punch by pressing down-forwards and punch, then go into a Headbutt after that by pressing any up direction and punch.

You basically charge two moves in one, but only use one charge for one move so you saved the other charge for afterwards.

I swear everytime I watch this particular vid it looks faster than normal. I can see it in the air time whenever Daigo jumps. The jumps are noticabely quicker with less hangtime.

Yeah, of course. He's using the headbutts to get past them(although I'm not sure whether the headbutts allow Balrog to go through the fireballs or under them). But I was refering to the hangtime of Balrogs actual jumps which he does occasionally in this vid. It seems like there is less hangtime here than when I jump with Balrog in STHD Remix, almost like everything's sped up a bit more than the HD Remix version. Is that so? Or is Daigo just making Balrog look faster with his endless rushdown?

Rog moves always accelerate, hence making him a fast character. Daigo uses Rogs speed very well in these matches. Also this game is played a turbo 3 speed.

thats not at all what it is. Balrog uses charge move and 3 button moves. He has a charge when u hold and release all 3 punches and another move when u hold all 3 kicks.

So Say you charge back 5 seconds release into the regular punch but during the animation quickly hold down 3 punches and when animation is done let go, do that move, then while that animation is going get ready to charge another move. Its really easy and how most people play any charge character. But its really easy as balrog.
