i don't play GH but in other vids i've seen when you hit the notes they actually sound like you made that sound but in this vid i don't know its like you're just pushing buttons and there's a song playing...

I don't see why people are freaking out about it being unrealistic. First off, it's a game. Secondly, in Rockband you can play Clint Eastwoord by the Gorrilaz and all you do is play the harmonica if your on guitar.

I don't mind playing the bass in some customs, but in Clint Eastwood, you play harmonica, piano, and a couple of DJ scratch effects, because there IS no guitar. If they charted bass on that song for guitar, it'd be boring.

There is. In fact the original demo is played by Roger Waters alone on an acoustic guitar. If you ever watch them live, the guitar plays the opening riff with the bass.
