The outside of Pemberley was filmed at Lyme Park in Cheshire, which is the most beautiful place in the world. I went there with my family every summer and my happiest memories are of those days. If you walk a short way into the park, you can visit the pool into which Mr Darcy dives.

The interior of Pemberley was filmed at Sudbury Hall. When Lizzie looks out from the music room ("of all this I might once have been mistress") towards the lake it is the lake at Sudbury.
