This has got to be one of my fave songs by brand new. As the Jellybabykid said they should release the untitleds. I only have the downloaded versions and the quality is quite shoddy when playing on the stereo :(

here's why i love and hate brand new/jesse lacey fans. everyone has their own favorite album song and refuse to entertain the idea that ANYTHING ELSE WRITTEN was or will be as good as the favorite. Also, as a huge fan I think Daisy was good, but not a masterpiece by any stretch. my other problem with brand new fans is that we insist that everything that comes out of jesse's head is pure and utter genius. give the guy a break.

@studeb4kerh4wk agreed completly. I absolutly love Brand New, each album matures in it's own way. Each album is a different emotion thrown at you. That why I think most Brand New fans have their one favorite album...everyone has a different emotion that clicks with them. Daisy to me is just another masterpiece that displays Jesse yelling his emotions at you.. Love it. Brand New...amazing lol

@maznpants In no way did they go wrong with daisy. I'm not saying it because I'm a "fan" but daisy is something new to the scene of music in it's own way. It's not your typical scream nor your typical "alt emo punk whatever you want to call it" but it's an uncoordinated flowing so well CD. Can't explain it and that's how new CD's should be.

How could you even think that? first of all how could you say that any of the lyrics are bad? Have you listened to "In a Jar" "Gasoline" or "Vices" you have to be completely ignorent to make that comment. Secondly, perhaps it is extremely influenced by Grunge, but it is also influenced by punk, metal, progressive rock, indie rock... the list goes on. Daisy is a meshing together of all these genres, you just have no clue what you are talking about.

My/Some other people, interpret this song as using a metaphor of a bank robbery to describe America's goings on in the middle east (namely Iraq). They've come for the oil and know one will get hurt if they just comply with American will. The bank robbery bit is pretty much a given, I think its a metaphor of the Iraqi war because it makes sense, and many of the Untitled songs were theme'd on war, which I think his brother may of been personally involved in, see original sowing season nd brothers
