  • VERY nice video. I've been hunting How To cloth diapering videos on youtube for sometime now, and you take the cake! =]

  • very nice video, helps me a lot. Thanks!

  • hi.. can i know if what size is this? and what the meassurements of the elastic thank u :D

  • Thanx for posting! I'm ttc and when we finally get pregnant my hubby and I will be using this idea ^__^

  • Also how complicated do you think it'd be to sew by hand?

  • This video was wonderful!! You actually make it look REALLY easy!! I'm using cd (due December 31st)...& I haven't started her stash yet...about how much did you pay for all of the materials?

  • Love they way you explain. very detail. thank you.

  • wow. this is awesome!! It will come in handy as I have a child w/ special needs. I have been wanting to do this forever!! Thanks!

  • I found it helpful to not sew the aplix on the front, so close to the top, otherwise it will rub on baby's belly. Also, the tabs velcro- they don't need to be so big- again, for the same reason, they will rub along the baby's side. Very informative video though!

  • wow that's really good. thank you :)

  • What did you use for the soaker pad?

  • @rachiibuu I used three to five layers of flannel, as it is 100% cotton. You can use a facecloth (terry towelling) but it takes a little longer to dry if you are line drying. Also, microfibre will work too.

  • @rjackets About how long can baby wear the nappy? I tried 3 layers of terry towelling and it was like an hour on my 2yo lol

  • @rachiibuu I use a full microfiber towel in my fitted diapers and they last all night! Just make sure you use a cover.

  • did the flannel work well for absorbing messes

  • @venum2late Sorry for the late reply, had to wait for the baby to arrive to be able to give an honest answer, he he...the flannel did very well with a solid movement (i.e. number 2) however in hindesight, I would double the layers of the soaker to six layers to absorb more urine. I tried using some microfibre as the soaker, it works okay too.

  • I'd found a pattern online similar to yours but it had no video and the instructions were hard to follow. This is great! I'll pass it on to my mother who'll be helping me out making all the diapers. Thanks :)

  • @ncarson211 happy to help :)
