@ChumpJoe It doesn't sound like typical drone but it still meets the constraints of the genre while pushing it's boundaries. I notice it has a very distinctive drone in the bass end that keeps pushing through on each beat, similar to the 5th string on a banjo in almost any bluegrass arrangement.
The guitar's an Ario ProII, the FX/amp modelling are being done by Line6's Gearbox software, via a Line6 TonePort external USB soundcard (very handy, inexpensive bit of kit).

This isn't really drone but cool otherwise.

@ChumpJoe true, not drone but a nice use of delay
alucardisdumb 1 year ago
@alucardisdumb The title of the video, is drone guitar.
Not delayed guitar.
Xevamir 1 year ago
@Xevamir but drone implies that hes making actual guitar based drone music but what he's doing is some nice shoegazey stuff with delay.
thus not drone.
drone would fall under bands like om,sleeps dopesmoker album, sunn o))) boris shit like that.
i've made the mistake of mislabeling acouple of my videos like that too.
