  • 2:26 its Hustle Dancing but at 2:29 That is not Hustle, but Disco Dancing moves from the movie Saturday Night Fever, which some non popular silly ways were shown by John Travolta to exalt that character and add some Free Style Dance (but bs) to the plot. No one does that on Hustle Dancing and I have been to over 100 of those dances since 2004. Hustlers do laught at that though of doing that kind of Free Style Disco Dancing.

  • Narrator - Dancing culture is always consider a-tiempo, and contra-tiempo. This On1 and On2 sytem is dseigned by the Americans studios; Btw Mambo is not haphazard, Mambo is always 1-3 (a-tiempo) on the downbeat. Doesnt matter where you start. The On2 is based on tumbao hit; but to tell you the truth Tumbao never starts on2, the start on the 4 or 8 on the lower pitch conga. Piano also never starts on 1 or on 2, they pitched in late. Check with a Latin percussionists or a musician.

  • PLS CAN U ONE STOP CHANGING THE HISTORY?

THIS IS ALL CUBAN MUSIC TRANSFORMED IN TO OTHER SIMPLE STYLES CAZ THEY ARE ALL BASED ON CUBAN STYLE.

THEY CAN TRY CHANGING IT AS MUCH AS THEY WANT AND HOWEVER THEY WANT IT TO BE, BUT ITS ALLWAYS GONNA BE THE SAME THING DRESSED IN A DIFFERENT WAY.

    ITS CUBAN. THAT'S IT.

  • mambo is cuban papo... thats why they call cuban music la leyenda del caribe... they made like 7 different rhytms... guaracha ... guaguanco.. changui. and so on

  • @yoelalmira All those names are African. Guaracha, Guaguanco, changui. Even the name Cumbia is the Spanish way of pronouncing the old West African dance and music called CUMBE. Ask an African who knows his music. They laught when mentioned Salsa is Cuban. Cubans were the first to start doing it with Eurpean Instruments and on the radio due Cuba had one of the first radio stations in Latin America. It could also be heard in Florida on non stormy nights. So Americans started listening to Cuba

  • @CFITOMAHAWK2 Interesting It Def comes from Africa! So Thanks to the Africans for this Great Art form! Every Race gave great contributions to humanity Science Knowledge The ARTS. So I'm Happy the rest of the Planet can Share and all Dance Together! One Love!

  • @CFITOMAHAWK2 Cuban Son ''salsa'' was created in Cuba NOT Africa....When u go to Africa they dont even know how to dance Casino, stylistic origins is Cuban originating from a mix of spanish cancion and afro cuban beats. So it means u need both of these roots for it to function, who ever told u it was created in africa is trying to grasp on to something of this significant stature, it was created by Cuban people in Cuba.

  • Could you put subtitles or something? I really don't understand your voice, Sorry

  • Without the Africans the Spaniards and Indians could not have done it. Africans are the real beginners. The Cubans want to take all the credit. That Cuban arrogance is what isolated you from all others nations that can't stand that. Go eat your mud while waiting for medicines from Puerto Rico, skinny.

  • @CFITOMAHAWK2 Hmm they call musica cubana afro-cubans. And cubans are the very humble people, compared to the arrogant and haughty puerto ricans who learn it from the americans.

  • @AfroMalaya Ja ja ja ja Now you are a racist motherfucker, Cuban are the ones who had the reputation of been so arrogant that it is unfortunately a disease, but I am talking about the old generation who came here to talk shit about Fidel and play domino in Miami little Havana.

  • Comment removed

  • @AfroMalaya In the contrary to the new generation of young Cubans from the island who are humble not arrogant and habla mierda que los viejos que son todavia mas racista con su propia jente. Had you ever been in Miami stupid fuck? Even the new generation of Cuban from the island hated those old generation in Miami arrogant comemierdas cowards.

  • @AfroMalaya If you are talking about arrogant Puerto Ricans, probably you are referring to New York Rican but who is not arrogant in New York? Dominican York, Italian American even worse than any other races, if we are becoming arrogant the reason is stupid fuck like you who is come here to write shit like that. control.

  • @AfroMalaya But you know what it is better like that because this is why we are start to dislike any other Latino race or any other stupid race who come here to talk shit. Any Latino or any other races that come to USA to ask us for help are going to get a kick in his or her butt from us. Remember we have most of the USA government under our

  • Yo no he visto los otros videos, pero no veo en ningún lado un video clip de Perez Prado que era el verdadero REY DEL MAMBO.

The rest of the people like Tito Puente, Tito Rodriguez and Machito were followers not creators as DAMASO PEREZ PRADO did.

    Atentamente

    LATINOSOMOS

  • While Prado is generally credited with popularizing the mambo, its beginnings are often attributed to two other Cubans, Arsenio Rodriguez and Orestes Lopez.

Arsenio Rodriguez (1911-1970), "El Ciego Maravilloso" ("the marvelous blind man"). Orestes Lopez played cello for a rival band, La Maravilla del Siglo, which battled Rodriguez in groove-to-groove combat in the recording studio, as well as on stage.

  • @latinosomos They can´t admit that, because then they would have to admit that mambo is Cuban and therefore salsa is basically Cuban

  • Im missing cuba so much shame shame the blockade icolated cuba from neighbouring jamaica.

  • @antowalk ?? you can go to Cuba from Jamaica.

  • So is it fair to say salsa's grandarents were cuban but her parents were Newyorican? And its great granparents were african and native?

  • @DontReplytoComment Salsa has no native influence.

  • @rotena25 You ever heard of Maracas? That serves you as one example :)

  • @DontReplytoComment And what about the maracas? west africans have their own maracas, but they do not call it by that name. People like you will never accept the african origins of the majority of latin american music and dance. And it is very said and tragic, the africanes of the culture is so obvious and in your face. The only thing blinding you from the truth is your racism.

  • @rotena25 Wow, you took my comment and loaded it with words that where not there. What you are doing is Individualized-Racism, victimizing and discriminating yourself. I'm proud my African heritage. Insignificant, but it has great influence. Especially in the kitchen and music. You are as too Afrocentric, always trying to give credit to African influence in forced ways. Many things where brought from Africa, but not all that is found is Africa and later found in the Americas is necessarily so.

  • @DontReplytoComment Tainos died of Small Pox, but their culture remained all over the Caribbean. Many women in Puerto Rico have Taino Mitochondria DNA, meaning Spanish sailors and Natives where able to produce children. Tainos influenced Puerto Rican culture and the Maternal DNA was able to carry on despite the Native Mothers being whipped out by the foreign Disease. Ugh, move on Afrocentric. Amerindians are to be credited too!

  • @DontReplytoComment I will say it again their is no native influence in salsa influence only african and spanish. The creators of the music were afro cubans.

  • @rotena25 You can have your opinion, it's not a fact. Move when you have valid proof. Maracas where introduced in Latin America by Natives. Archeological findings have prove their existence before European and African Immigration. They where not the only ones to have them, but that's how they got in Latin America. Ugh, Afrocentric are so racist. Ironically.

  • @DontReplytoComment African had their own marracas and had no use for the native versions of their own.

  • @rotena25 Shut up. Stupid Afrocentric. Listen to yourself. So annoying. Your like stupid White Supremacist. You both live in a lie. No difference except, skin tones and facial features. Same ideology. Disgusting. Move on.

  • @DontReplytoComment Why are you getting angry. Or is it because you know im telling the truth?

  • @rotena25 So now your going from Afrocentric to Egocentric? I'm not angry, but I do hope that a bus loaded with wrestlers hits you and fixes your brain :D Good wishes, heh?

  • @rotena25 I agree with you, the reason why latin ballroom is because of cuban music, but they make sure they removed all black or african thing, cause the white people wont buy dancing stuff that has lots of black thing in it. Racism is what made Latin Ballroom flourish when no latin people really dance ballroom that style..

  • @DontReplytoComment Not only is that Fair but Super Acurate!!!! That will be a Great analogy! Good One!
