  • I watched this video before having my own forehead lipoma removal surgery. It lasted for about 30 minutes and was done by a plastic surgeon. It did not hurt at all during the surgery but did hurt for about three days afterwards.

My question is: I now have a scar that looks like this: \__ , instead of ___. There is also an indentation where the lipoma was. It has been one month. Is this normal? It seems like an oddly shaped scar. I expected a straight, horizontal line. Help!

  • gotta ask u something i gotta do the same surgery does it hurt ?

  • @bustatenkemo76 IT was pretty uncomfortable for a few days, but you get over it. it's been over a year now and it is A OK. nice to not have that stupid bump.

  • was this guy awake the whole time.....

  • @RiffTV915 yes

  • Solid suture for minor surgery.

  • @DrAlexJCagleMD No scar.

  • i think it hurts really bad

  • lol, Third eye....

  • wrong side of youtube

  • hes awake through this.. i know they gave him shots but look how deep it went

  • @EMINEMk9killer the shots were only local anesthetic. I was wide awake through the whole thing.

  • @jpchapboy didnt it hurt like hell

  • i have the same thing in the same spot

  • @003937 get it taken out.

  • I'm getting this done soon. Where did you go to get it done? And how much did it cost? And do they make you wear bandages after or anything?

  • @chloealice100 it cost me $275 with no insurance. it has been just over a year and the scar is impossible to see. I can still feel it when I rub it with my fingers, and there is a very small pucker in my skin but it doesn't stand out.

there is still some numbness on my forehead above the incision because the nerves get severed in the procedure. but its better than having a huge bump on your head.

  • @jpchapboy only $275??!! where and what kind of surgeon did you see? my quote from a cosmetic surgeon was in the thousands...

  • @pndapk He is a facial plastic surgeon in Layton UT.

you could save money to fly out!

  • @pndapk search for dr john bitner

  • @pndapk it was done in his private office. Offer to pay cash and ask for the very best price. I think my Doc said he should have charged a little more, but not a lot. it only took 45 mins. I went to an introduction to facial plastics (lift, botox, etc.) hosted by the doctor and he looked at it after. he was really cool.

  • Never ever saw such a huge cut for that kind of procedure.Plus the lipoma wasnt that big at all!

And the surgeon was kind of rough;holding your forehead with a "fish crook"!!(almost a "jigger")LOL

I hope you're all good today tho and I sure hope it wont come back...

    Great vid buddy.Tnx.

  • @pkl1302 all better now. 1 yr. later.

  • @jpchapboy Good to know buddy!Merry christmas by the way!

  • sexy

  • I bet he feels lightheaded

  • Spend almost 5 mins watching the video only for his head to get in the way once it is finally removed... FFFFFUUUUUUUUU

  • i had that done few years ago, my face was black and blue for about 4 weeks after :)

  • Whats wrong with Tien ?

  • that is so nasty

  • damn neat suture!

  • it kinda looks like a third eye almost

  • will you have a permanent scar there? could you feel it while they were poking around?? they look so rough with your skin!

  • All I Kept Saying Was OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG.... CRAZY

  • i wouldnt wann have one butt that looks cool :) so sorry for ya broski

  • Yes the swelling takes a couple weeks to get better. after a month it should look really good. after a year it will look great.

  • Hi, I had the same exact thing done11 days ago. The cut though it's a lot smaller than yours.

I'm a little frustrated by the fact that it seems just about the same as before with the add of a little three stitches cut...I understand that it could swollen up after the surgery. What was your experience, did it take long to recover? Nice video anyway... have a great one!

  • how big was the lipoma? mmxmm?

  • @untoashes777 about 20mm dia, and 8 mm thick. pretty nasty thing to have under my skin.

  • @blackops777 That's funny! Oh yeah, It was a plastic surgeon, and he didn't cut my head off. in fact there is no visible scar at all anymore. how else would they get something out from UNDERNEATH your skin?

  • @OSMxLOBBIES You are correct and I commend you on your knowledge. This however is only true in the majority of cases. There is a very small minority of people who have their brain shoved right up their arse. You are such a person.

  • how do people get these

  • @sm00thie90 it grows there. One day I was fixing my hair looking in the mirror and realized there was a bump on my forehead. after that everybody and their dog noticed it.

  • @jpchapboy but where does it come from dirt?

  • @sm00thie90 it is a fat tumor. a lump of fat that starts growing there.

  • There was no brain in there. I did not notice one

  • @brendanbutterworth the brain is inside the skull. RETARD

  • I just had this done and am very happy that I did not watch this until now. It feels like a dentist went to town on my forehead. The sound of the surgery was like the sound of cutting chicken with poultry scissors.

  • HOLY SHIT THIS IS THE NASTIEST THING I HAVE EVER SEEN!

    how did you handle this?!

  • the music made this awesome lol

  • 1:15 looks like another eye inside his forehead XD

  • This song makes me wanna go inside a army base dressed as James Bond (even though I'm a girl) and sneak around XD

  • looks like a third eye, no offense

  • man that thing was huge. and you were awake the whole time? why didnt they put you to sleep?

  • man that thing was huge. and you were awake the whole time?

  • ;i might have to get one on my eyebrow

  • I see this and can't stop thinking ...*faints*

  • I got one too, will this leave a big scar for a while? :(

  • @FoxMedina the scar was almost impossible to see after two weeks.

  • @jpchapboy He did a pretty meticulous job with the cut and stitching.

  • you can understand tagalog saidiluvubutilied? here in the philippines the surgery is cost of 9,000 php not affordable >.< and im scared when i see the surgery scary!!!!!

  • 1:25 he looks like a cylon...

btw did you get a headache?, you lost a lot of blood from your head

  • @luigiandmario2 Yeah My head hurt, but not a head ache. I had a 2.5" slit across my forehead. The first three days were not much fun.

  • 1:25 he looks like a cylon...

  • hey I just had mine removed a couple of days agao when do you think I will see the swelling start to go down? what all did you do to keep it down!! Part of my eye is swollen is that normal?

  • @TJAYWILSON Well sorry for the delay. YOu've probably noticed the swelling go down by now. You probably have some bruising still which will go away before much longer. I didn't have any swelling in my eye. There was a lot around the incision. Two weeks things are felling pretty good. It's been 6 months now for me and I am starting to regain feeling in my forehead above the incision. no pain unless I really push on it. the scar is totally invisible.

  • @jpchapboy LOL yea you are right most of the swelling has went down!!(Thank God) I got a black eye(s) from the blood draining.. but that is about gone too!! Thanks for you help!

  • he's a cyclops!

  • @BlueMoon3l3b I totally should have got a plastic eyeball and had them stick it in when it was open and take a picture. That would have been awesome

  • bkt meron dn akong ganito

  • @igitbuburtTHE2nd best to have it remove my friend

  • thank u for sharing this video i just haved a surgery, and i,m very disappoint because the doctor just remove 50% of the lipoma he say that the lipoma is in between the muscle and he would be available to remove just 50% i wonder if your doctor told you anything like may be hard to remove the lipoma if is in between the muscle, know i,m piss because i,m still have the lipoma + scar

  • oh im sorry son tht wasnt the lipoma i just removed, that was a small piece of your brain 0.o

  • thank u for sharing, i had ahard forehead swelling like u and was diagnosed as afibrolipoma,i excised it 6 days ago by aplastic surgeon,

i want to ask u if the swelling persists after surgery or not due to local anaethesia, becuase i think it's still swollen, and the doctor told me that dueto local anaethesia and everything will be good after 1 month, it's true!1thanx again

  • @metoovet The swelling we4nt down to almost normal in a week.

  • I didn't realize skin was so thick. I figured we would see a skull by now.

  • I'm located in PA so I don't know if your Doctor would be too helpful, lol. I got a recommendation to a plastic surgeon from my primary care physican so I'm hoping it won't be too expensive. I'm insured, but I am thinking they will consider this cosmetic.

  • @77courtlynne The doc can recommend it for a biopsy and they probably will cover it. Ask the Doc about it. Mine said it was covered, (but I don't have insurance)

  • Was this lipoma hard to the touch? I had a CT scan earlier this week and was told that the lump on my forehead is a lipoma, but all the descriptions I have read online discribe them as soft or doughy and mine is hard.

  • @77courtlynne Yes. It was very hard. it felt like a hard bump rigedly attached to my skull. of course there was the softness of skin and muscle over top of it. but I could press sideways against the bump and it wouldn't move.

I know a good doctor that doesn't charge much.

  • I have a lipoma on my forehead about 4cm in diameter, I've had it about 10-15 years.

Has never bothered me, but I'm thinking about finally having it removed, if only for cosmetic reasons. Thanks for posting this, now I have a better idea of what to expect

in terms of surgery. I have a skin crease running right across the middle of it, so hopefully scarring will be minimized. Thanks again!

  • @BillC518 Please see my follow up video. the scar is almost undetectable. much less noticeable that the bump was. The doc only charged $275 with no insurance. Not too bad a price I think.

  • @jpchapboy Only $275!! Wow, that's a great price! I don't think my insurance'll cover it since I'll be having it done for cosmetic reasons. Guess I'll have to start surgeon shopping!

  • im getting mine removed by january and im only 14! mine is right on my spine it buggs me soo much i cant wait to get mine removed

  • Good ;)

  • That is one heck of a lipoma! Thanks for sharing! :)
