Mines is so much better. MINES! I have a BSR turntable that was PRECISION BUILT IN GREAT BRITAIN. It plays 78s and has a rap around stylus that has 2 NEEDLES IN ONE stylus! It sounds so much better than this junk with my Soundesign receiver! It has 475 watts on the back so its so much better than this one.
Nice Looking, it seems it was an inspiration for the Dennesen ABLT-1 (Aire Bearing Linear Tracking One), that was available in the early 80's. I was told the problem with design was with matching compliance with the cell. Also with the low frequencies. I see 2 emerging designs : A) Complete wrap around bearing (à la AirTangent or Eminent technology) B) Using the air bearing for the lateral motion only, and some kind of pivot for the vertical motion. Any comments ?
