  • @buddhasknowbest We refer to god as 'he' not because gods a male but as respect, because if we called god 'it' etc, that would be disrespectful. The reality is, that if god had a creator, then he wouldn't be god because then otherwise the thing which created god would be greater and more intelligent to have been able to create him in the first place. So therefore there can be only one god who has been there eternally and is the creator of the universe.

  • @stronglegproductionz

Calling god "it" would be more befitting as it is neutral and above gender. The Qur'an uses masculine nouns to describe god, just like any other man-made religion. It is written from the human perspective with anthropomorphic descriptions. Allah is King, has His Throne and muslims will bow to His Shin in the hereafter. People define what gods are. You have your ideal god, just like others. If I believed in (my) god, your ideal god would not be god to me. "He"? Blasphemy!

  • @buddhasknowbest The word "He" is used when referring to Allah out of respect, dignity and high status. It would be totally inappropriate to use the word "it" and would not convey the proper understanding of Allah being who Allah is; Alive, Compassionate, Forgiving, Patient, Loving, not just an object of some sort. It is not correct to associate the word "He" with gender, as this would be comparing Allah to the creation, something totally against the teaching of Quran.

Naturally, we are going to disagree. Nevertheless, it was a good discussion, my friend. Take care bro. Free Palestine! :)

  • @buddhasknowbest disagree? the truth bows not to opinion, opinion bows down to the truth by Allah Islam is the truth those that reject the truth knowingly may their noses be rubbed in the dirt may their noses be rubbed in the dirt may their noses be rubbed in the dirt how disgraceful how opressive

  • Forget the cargo ship with electronics. Forget the Earth. Forget the universe. Allah is greater, right? Yet, even Allah exists without cause, meaning, or purpose. God does not know why existence is. God had nothing to do with it. Explain that. Islam claims that the greatest thing to exist has no creator. Since God is more extraordinary, how can something like God just exist? Dear Muslims, use the same logic on your own religion. We know everything about cargo ships. What a poor example.

  • @buddhasknowbest You sound very confused. We believe that everything that begins to exist must have a cause, however, god didn't begin to exist he was always there and to say that god must have a creator is contradictory to the word 'god' which means eternal supreme being, if god had a creator then the thing that created him would have been god and this example of the cargo ship depicts it perfectly, he's saying a cargo ship can't run itself, then what about the immensely complicated universe?

  • @stronglegproductionz

You agree that not everything has a cause. Your religion claims that the most greatest thing that exists... magically exists. That is arbitrariness. If you can accept this, then surely, you can accept something less grand like atoms, space, time, minerals, and energy as just existing. We already know that something great like "existence" itself needs no creator. But all of this is pointless. The real question is this: why does something exist, rather than nothing at all?

  • @buddhasknowbest Like I said before, god never began to exist, he was always there. Your mind is limited to this universe in which everything has a beginning and an end. Time doesn't affect god as time is a creation of god like WOGI5M said. The first thing 'to be' would have had to create the universe with a will or a cause, when there's a will, there's a personality, and creating something as complex as the universe must mean there's great intelligence also. Only god could be the answer to this

  • @buddhasknowbest Time is a creation of God, thus he is not bound by the realms of time. In other words, he is not part of time.

  • give me the nasheeed!
