This is one of those songs that can just take you back. When you felt the hurt that only someone who has lost a love can feel. The pain you felt, I can even see the apartment and the crappy furniture we got a yard sales. The sound system that was mine the best thing we had. Packing up all my few things I wanted to take him coming home and telling me what was his and mine. Lucky for me I have a huge brother. He walked in just in time. Still kind of breaks my heart he died last yr sons father
This song is so prophetic and bittersweet for me.It was on the radio when I walked out, in the middle of the night, on the love of my life. I was going to ask her to marry me, but there were so many roadblocks in the way I just said screw it, and walked away. That was 11 years ago, but I remember it like it was yesterday, and the lyrics of this song seemed as though they were tailor made for me.
Actually, the boys are from England, so "Southern Rock" sounds rather odd...but it's something to hope for. Maybe a Southern Rock band will record a ballad this good someday...anything's possible!
Another 70's classic rock and roll tune. You know a lot of people laugh and joke and put down the 70's scene; but dude that decade turned out some incredible music that still lives on today and will forever. I am proud to be a child of the 70's and wish I could go back to that simpler time and do it all again!
Bad Company was my first concert 15yrs old now 50 but still one of the best bands. Brings me back to the good ole days. Kids to day should listen to some good music you can understand words and not all that F word crap
"Don't forsake me 'cause I love you..." tears my heart up and makes me cry every single time. To me, it is one of the most beautiful lines ever written.
Another of my all time favorites. Reminds me of Panama City Beach Spring Break, late 70's. Partying with some cool Birmingham Al. girls, we were riding in her Mustang when she played this. Loved it ever since and forever.
