@Kdg86 as for the epson controller you mentioned, is it built in the LCD panel itself or do we have to couple the terminals of the LCD to the so-called driver? I have lots of LCDs from nokia too but I'm still at starters with it... identifying the model number is another thing too..
is it possible to put a video on the microcontroler or would i have to add external storage. becasue im programing a chip that when it starts up it views a video but then is all picture it for a friend who wants his airsoft gun to count down the bullets and the video in the beginning looks like its booting up. can i add 100mb of memory to the microcontoler.
looks like you're using a bare PIC with no overhead, not one of those PIC learning modules that cost a hundred dollars and seem to be designed to keep you from learning (on the hardware level)- [just my uninformed opinion- I'm here to learn]
So yeah, I like that- what is hooked up to your PIC?
Yes, it would be possible to use this LCD as a small video LCD, but it's bad contrast on it. What I said in the video about it being slow was just with my software on the PIC,I discovered later on. It uses SPI interface to the MCU/CPU.
That was nice! but ho do you know what to send to the display controller, I mean the commands to make it work or something like that. Are there special commands to make it work or some data sheet?
All the commands that you can send to the LCD is explained in the datasheet. And there is alot of sample code on the net to see how to get the LCD upp and running. Regradrs Kdg86 Happy New Year!
Kdg86 ;I love pic microcontroller programming like you but cannot find jobs in that field in my country egypt.. if you can find job for us in sweeden i'll be very grateful

He mentioned in the video where he got this...

a question: Can this LCD use to watch video signals? I'm interested in a project which uses LCDs for video with sizes similar to this LCD or smaller.
