to be honest i didnt like it at all and i'm a saxon fan for many years.

i mean first of all it's the cd opener and instead of an epic track like state of grace or batallions of steel it's this rocky song.

also the title of the track "war of the gods" implies something epic and rough. not a song for dancing. anyway that's my personal opinion.

i only liked the AWESOME riff at 2:54! this is HELL!

Listening to Hammerfall is pretty stupid actually.

Saxon aren't famous, but back in the early 80s they were better known than Metallica and were much more commercially successful than Maiden.

The other two bands are boring modern metal at it's worst, a pop/nu-metal band and a Power metal band which has been putting out utterly mediocre albums after their pretty decent debut.

And honestly, if you take a comment like that seriously you need to take a chill pill. Honest.

Love It, reminds me of the crusader era with better production. Could of easily been a hit in the 80's..has that 80's feel.
