They're not actually trees JR. They are a parasitic vine called a "Strangler Fig" that eventually kills the host tree! Sorry to be a killjoy! They are still freaky cool looking though. I have rainforests full of them where I live, 1000 miles north of Brisbane. Flew down for the show and the Meet & Greet (I had the airbrushed Awake shirt), great night too. Even if you did short out the FOH..ha ha. And probably good you didn't touch that ibis by the pond too. Very stinky birds, full of lice!
