I was there. I was a PA for the company that rented the camera gear to shoot this in store. Sherman Hemsley (George Jefferson) was there, and told me he was a fan since the early 70's Sounds crazy, but true!

Jon sounded like he was sick, which for a few years he had respiratory problems, if I am right. Shame, I saw then many times over probably forty years.

Saw them in 1972 at Winterland with Black Sabbath and Wild Turkey!!!! We drank some Wild Turkey mixed with Wine and Bourbon .
