  • QUESTION: when you import the tracks is it like listening to records or a digital recording

  • The way to go is get a good midrange turntable, hook that up to an external preamplifier, then hook that up to your soundcard's line in or microphone jack (using appropriate cables), and import from there. Most USB turntables are just terrible.

  • The sound card in your computer will sound better than the USB.

As was posted earlier. This turntable is designed mostly for record digging. Meaning... so you can use it at a record store to listen before you buy. IF, the store owners will allow you to do that.

  • Will it include the information with them when you put them on your computers? If it did, I'd get one.

  • I found a bunch of AWESOME records at a yard sale and and I'm looking a turntable to plug into my computer speakers. This looks promising. Now I can listen to my Rush, Supertramp and Styx records with my good speakers! :)

  • It's a digger tool.

    Not more not less.

  • That is a cheap looking turn table. Most USB turn tables that cost $100 or less is really crap. You can buy a CD player for $80 good, turntable for $80 = BAD!

  • this is stupid. why dont you just download the songs in your vinyl from limewire?? LOL

  • @mAdPoeTicSkiLLz Is limewire easy to use?

  • @DrHogfan limewire sucks that has nothing to do with real vinyl if you want real sound go buy a player or pickup or an usb one wich one yo prefer, btw i hate downloading to keep the soul alive for artist etc etc you should spent a couple of bucks. limewire is nothing same as napster whas.

  • @mAdPoeTicSkiLLz dowloading has nothing to do with real vinyl records, how do you even compare that?? limewire is for cheap bastards, if you whant to keep the soul alive you should spent a couple of bucks especially for the artist themselves.

  • You can just cut the tracks manually, and I don't suggest using mp3 because its a lossy format, I suggest wav or flac.

  • audacity difficult? oh please!

  • microsoft aubviously bought them out to say that...

  • vista is the biggest pile of shit ever created, why the hell would you wanna use it?

  • because it is good, if you know what you are doing. its quite stable.

  • it's not stable even after all the patches released for it, it was developed and realsed too quickly because microsoft needed a comeback and look what it did.

  • the patches make it unstable, not as unstable as XP SP3 though. And they are trying to "redeem" themselves through Windows 7 which really is nothing more than Vista tweaked a little bit. Anyone with knowledge of computers and a powerful machine can make Vista run quite smoothly.

  • Windows 7 is 10x better than vista imo, have you even tried it?

  • Windows 7 is the worst OS I have ever used in my life. When I plug in a device, or install any program, there is a 60% chance that it won't install with out me figuring out some stupid solution. 40% of the time, it works half-ass.

  • I must admit i now run Windows 7 Professional x64 on my desktop and i like it better than Vista. Of course the computer is customized with a heck of a lot more power than most users ever dream of having, but it runs beautifully. (With the right settings of course)

  • RUSH 2112!!! awesome

  • thats good now i can finky sell my 20,000$ kiss record

  • i wouldnt do that!

  • think that was sarcasm

  • nice :)
