I have a problem!!! My hair has a good amount of natural hair, it's about half natural and the ends are relaxed. I am struggling to do the finger curls! Is this because of the relaxed ends? I really hate flat ironing my hair, so I'm trying to do this natural style, but is this style only for full natural?

@TheTyebreaker I suggest using rollers. You'll get the same tight curls using small cold wave rods. Good luck to you!

Hey, I was just thinking about doing a Bantu knot out and I remembered that you used gel for your coils. Would you recommend gel for Bantu knots?

@omg8o No way!! It's going to leave your curls crunchy and they may not separate easily and you need that to happen when doing a bantu knot out. I only use coconut oil when doing bantu knots. I have a cool quick video on bantu knots. Please refer to that. :o)

@dizzydija I slept on a silk bonnet pillowcase with my hair uncovered. Some nights I didn't because I fell asleep on the couch lol and the hair style was still in tip top shape on the 4th day I washed it out.

just one question... did you sit under a dryer, or did you just let them air dry? I know most people lie to sit under a dryer to make the process go by a lil bit faster...

@modestlyGOREGOUS The coils actually dried pretty quickly, but since I was in a hurry and it was 90 something degrees out, I just did them and left so they air dried.

Even just with the coils in I got a ton of compliments on this style. A woman in the grocery store stared me down while I was in line to pay and waited for me to get done and then asked me a gazillion questions about my hair. Definitely the most hilarious moment of me being natural! lol.
