I saw the 3 Mustaphas 3 a dozen or so times in the 80s in London. Fab. They were from a town called Szegerely (although one of them seemed to live a few doors up from me in Brixton while others were often spotted around Stoke Newington!).
The 3 Mustaphas 3 did a great cover of this. The 3 Mustaphas 3 were a family band based in London of Bosnian/Hercegovinian/Macedonian/Albanian origin. I could never quite work out where they came from because they took eclecticism beyond the limits of sanity.
My dad was stationed in Japan during the Korean War and I grew up with him singing this song to us as kids. Never thought anyone else would even know about this little ditty.
