  • Love song from early fifties in Japan! I also remember Shimbachi for:

" I come, you come, MP come !"

  • I love this song!

    Great!

  • I saw the 3 Mustaphas 3 a dozen or so times in the 80s in London. Fab. They were from a town called Szegerely (although one of them seemed to live a few doors up from me in Brixton while others were often spotted around Stoke Newington!).

  • The 3 Mustaphas 3 did a great cover of this. The 3 Mustaphas 3 were a family band based in London of Bosnian/Hercegovinian/Macedonian/Albanian origin. I could never quite work out where they came from because they took eclecticism beyond the limits of sanity.

  • My illusions have just been shattered. Apparently they were all English with normal English names.

  • Perhaps they were really Japanese :) Thanks for the comments.

  • My dad was stationed in Japan during the Korean War and I grew up with him singing this song to us as kids. Never thought anyone else would even know about this little ditty.

  • ...Wow !....

    :-)
