During the 2011 Consumer Electronics Show, this version of 100 Yard Dash was posted as a video on the SONY website. It was awesome and made me a convert. But it was taken down and has not been available since. Glad to have this version. What's up Raphael and SONY? Don't sit on things that are this good.
This is my favorite version of 100 Yard Dash that I've heard so far, they ROCKED OUT, I just LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!!!! God, I love me some Saadiq, dude's a genius that looks just a little over 1/2 his age <3<3<3
"north sea jazz" . where's the jazz ? this is just watered down motown era r&b and a not very good imitation at that ..no offense rafael, but the heart of jazz is innovation...not imitation. .
@dsekou he refrenced motown era because that's what he grew up listening to, he didn't copy but one can see the influence if one is familiar with the era and it's timeless music unlike the materialistic crap that other artists keep putting out....FRESH take on vintage style = TIMELESS which was kinda of his goal
I don't like this interviewer's questions. They weren't very intelligent. No research whatsoever, but he tried to fake it. Raphael handled it like the pro he is though:)
