To check your fps in source games type in the console, cl_showfps 1, and lol wtf

@zmx101 hey zmx. When I play a game, how come in some games it can get hot and still work while in some it slows down. Bioshock, Half life 2, portal, TF2, GMOD, Just Cause 2, and mass effect 2 never did that. However for some reason in episode 1 and 2 it gets choppy when overheating.

Since your fps drops a bit low there, I would reccomend using 4x AA instead of 16xQ. In fact, you don't really need AA when you have 1920x1080 on a laptop monitor anyway.
