They look like they really enjoy everything about singing and about your class, and understand the true meaning of music. These kids and you have an amazing life ahead of you based on what you've started doing here.

  • Wow. I can't decide which version I like better; this one or the acoustic version...

  • wow. all i can say is i wish you were my choir teacher. these kids voices are so pure, AHHHH ITS SO BEAUTIFUL!!!

  • It would be so cool if the kids sang Run by Snow Patrol and also covered by Leona Lewis. That is such a gorgeous song. These kids are so talented. Every time I hear them sing, it brings tears to my eyes. What an inspiring teacher!!

  • PS22 and Gregg, you will never be the same nor will any of us who heard your beautiful voices and beautiful faces and incredible energy. I'm old and I hope the last thing I hear on earth is your sweet, soul-moving voices. The world can be changed for the better with the simple voices of gorgeous children like you and a man who inspires them to sing with their hearts not just their lovely voices. What an incredible blessing and wild HOPE you've brought us.

  • OMG... I'm sitting at my desk.. in tears. THIS IS BEAUTIFUL!

  • Just wanted all the young people from PS22 know that Your Voices echo far beyond the Streets of NYC. Very Very Nice Work.

    From

    Blue Ridge Gatorade

    Wytheville, Virginia

  • You are doing a very good thing. The kids voices are beautiful, and love their passion.

  • These children are so beautiful.

  • Was at the Fleetwood Mac concert last night when Stevie Nicks mentioned these kids. Absolutely beautiful. Hope some of the young women grow up to sing with me in Sweet Adelines!

  • oh wow! what did she say?????

  • She came out and dedicated the song to them. Said how lucky she was to be able to hear them perform for her earlier in the day and how proud and touched she was by their total involvement in their performance. She said they made her cry. The woman sitting next to me told me about this video. I've already shared it with my entire chorus. Keep making beautiful music with these beautiful children!

  • awesome, thanks for letting me know! we wanted to stay for the show, but it would have been too late a night for the kid-lings. also appreciate your kindness about the chorus!! :)

  • so good. did they get to perform for Stevie?

  • yup! she was a total inspiration..... :)

  • Saw you guys on Good Morning america before i went to school myself, and i watch so many of your breath taking videos. You and your Teacher truely are gifted and i hope you guys continue with your work! Truely a blessing!

  • this gave me chills! They're amazing. I wish my old choir sounded like this.

  • this gives me chills there amazing

  • These children are mesmerizing... I love to watch and listen to them. They sound angelic.

  • So incredibly beautiful.

They are indeed like angels. Their sound has the power to move a grown man to tears.

  • You kids sing so beautiful! Like... angels in the auditorium. Props to ABC Nightline for pointing out Mr. B's youtube videos of the PS22 Chorus group. I wish you all the best after you graduate this year and pray that public school funding at ALL grade school levels will be recognized by the NY school board.

  • brilliant... so beautiful.

  • y'all should do some Pat Benitar!

  • These kids are awesome - save the music!

  • Wow, this sounds great.

  • I would buy any cd that these children make. YOu are an amazing teacher! This is what should be going on all over!!!! Send this to Joel Klein and Gov. Patterson. Never cut music funding!!!!

  • wow. these kids are amazing:)

  • I get goosebumps when I listen to this, these kids are amazing, you've given them the gift of music and that's a gift that keeps on giving.

  • You all are absolutely incredible. You blend well and the tone is just impeccable. You really have a great talent and a wonderful group. Very inspirational. From one singer to another, you are just absolutely amazing.

  • A friend posted a link to one of the other songs your choir did and I just realized that I've been listening to your choir sing for the past hour. What an absolutely amazing job these kids are doing and you with them. They must all be so proud! Keep up the good work!

  • stevie will be pleased if she see this

  • From what I heard, when she saw the video of these kids singing "Landslide," she cried and then invited them to Fleetwood Mac's July 11 show at Madison Square Garden.

  • IMHO I prefer the a capella rendition of "Landslide". These children have been taught something very special. I am touched! A hug and a kiss to each precious child, and 2 for you! EXCELLENT!

  • Wow...amazing....you guys are amazing! All that hard work shows and your teacher is cute!

  • so inspiring! would love to hear a Radiohead song! so beautiful!

  • mr. b u and the choir members make my day everytime i see you guys online

  • I like the a'capella version better - with the songs the chorus have done using keyboards or guitar the instrument tends to drown out the amazing harmonies these kids generate. Well done everybody.

  • Beautiful and inspiring. Thanx kids. And teacher you are awesome.

  • boy, I could think of somw great songs these kids could do. you should seriously do a poll of you tube fans as to what these kids should do next-what I poinent example of the need to maintain the arts in school.

  • Yes, a poll would be nice. At least better than all these "Do my favorite song" requests postet throughout the comments.

  • please sing haleluja

  • This made my night. Thanks.

  • Oh my goodness gracious. They're so incredibly amazing. Awesome kids!!

  • how do you do this!!?

  • i think they would be amazing singing halo by beyonce.

  • My students said the same thing after watching them!

  • Haunting.

  • this chorus' story should be made into a movie especially about the teacher because it amazing what he is able to bring out in these kids

  • very haunting :)

  • Yes Live High is so uplifting!!! please do that next! :)

  • simply wonderful. I had a rough day...a rough week. what a great way to put life into perspective. one of my favorite songs by my favorite artist. thank you.

  • i might be annoying hehe but could you by any chance do "Live High" by Jason Mraz, PLEASE :)

  • I tell you what, this makes me proud of our youngster. You are doing an awesome job.

  • It is pretty amazing that you were able to get all of the kids to sing with that much passion. Pretty inspiring. :)

  • Man, that was just so wonderful! What wise, expressive, and amazing kids!! Beautiful.

  • the best !! soo amazingg ..

  • Beautiful!!!!

  • Are any kids excluded? I mean, what if a kid tries out who really cannot sing. If you take everyone who tries out then you have performed a miracle.

  • unfortunately our school is THE largest elementary school on staten island, so there's no way to take everyone. there is an audition process, and it's what i consider to be a necessary evil.... (however all the kids do get a music education with a choral component that's involved.)

  • wow, with a large student population and what must be an increasing number of students eagerly wanting to be in the group, the selection process must be tough...

  • Wow. I enjoyed both this a capella rendition and the other with Mr. B on guitar, but I must admit this one tugged hard at my heartstrings. The timing and the harmonies are so wonderful! These kids will ALWAYS remember this experience and I think it'll give them something they'll carry forever. THIS is what people are for.

  • I agree; both are excellent, but I prefer this one.

    Great job!

  • UHMAZING !

    loved it

  • absolutely amazing.

  • they sing every word with so much passion this is incredible. chills all over again.

  • this is my FAVORITE video of PS22 Chorus (of course, i say that about each one that comes out but i mean it this time! :P)

  • Do more a capella songs please! these kids dont need background music they're so moving all by themselves!

  • I like the acoustic version better! It highlights their talented voices more! Great job!!!

  • PS22 FOR LIFE!

That was beautiful. These videos are brilliant. I love seeing everyone's expressions and gestures. They are all singing from the heart hardcore! A number of pro singers could take a few pages from these marvelous artists

  • That's also made a cover by Dixie Chicks.

  • amazing! That was amazing! Great choir! And the kids are adorable!

  • when i saw this in my updates i could not get over here fast enough. one of my favorite songs ever!!

the kids killed it. i absolutely love them.

  • simply amazing.

  • I love this song! These kids are absolutley BRILLIANT. They are very inspiring. Tell them please that they always make our day, and when we watch them, we can't stop smiling!

    xoxo Lexie

  • this is amazing just think of it with a full string section and piano

  • my thoughts exactly.

  • wow!!! it's a toss up for which is better... acoustic guitar or a capella! I love how strong the kids voices are on this-- sopranos are tight on this!

  • one of my favorite songs done BEAUTIFULLY!!!! wow...

  • "Mirror in the sky, what is love?"

    These kids!
