All this is, is a glitch or freeze in the game. Just like when a dead persons dropped weapon floats. This is proven because after 4 bullets you can hear the explosion of the claymore. If he were to walk through it, it wouldn't be triggered.

that is not an issue with hit detection. that is a "ghost" claymore, for want of a better word. the guy that planted it was dead but the graphic of the claymore didnt go away, but it was not an active claymore. If it was active it would have triggered when you almost stepped on it... When the game came out first it use to happen more frequent and sometimes you would just see the 2 read beams... its just poor graphic initialization...
