LOL @ Beefkid. Do you really like beef? Maybe some sausage? Go back into your closet. As for your 15 year old kid, big deal.... Your ripping on Rik Brown whos a 52 year old grandfather. You bash Rik by saying that any MMA fighter wouldnt do these. You ever worked with a BJJ world champion? Rik has..., besides the video is Kettlebell BASICS, ya retard. Any MMA guy is going to be well beyond the basics. Next time boybeef, just stay behind the closet. Dont come out.
way to talk shit. thats a 15 yr old kid in my video and doing 40' plyo jumps. Yea Im sure you know tons of white boys who re 6'2 weighing 210 lbs who can do that
Kettlebel workouts look easier that they really are. I'm in decent shape but I couldn't do what he does with that size weight, at least not right away, and I would sucking a lot more air than that. lol
Haha beefkid, you gotta love youtube trainers you say, yet you post a workout yourself. Gotta love youtube haters too, I guess.
Hahaha this is ridiculous and certified personal trainer or anyone with kettle bell knowledge will tell you 3 of those warmups are bullshit. Go ask a real MMA fighter like Brock, GSP or BJ if these "warmups" are legit. And they will laugh. Nice try. Oh and if your going to try and sell training tips please have someone who actually looks like they can do it without having to take "air"..Dude has a gut and trying to tell people how to get into shape. Gotta love youtube trainers
My resources say if you're in good shape, as you claim, then a 16kg (approx. 35lb) kettlebell is where your should start. That is, assuming that you are a male. If you're a woman and in good shape, then a 12kg is good. However, don't rule out going lighter if you need to and then working your way up. Form with these things is absolutely essential! If you don't have it, or don't know what you're doing, you're opening yourself up to serious injury. I started using kettlebells 3 months ago.
300lb would be good! lol kidding. 20lb is probably ok but its all realative to what your doing with it and how strong you are. im 5"11 and 210 and i can get a descent workout with a 20lb kettlebell through repetition but i could use much much more weight than that. i could work out comfortably with a 50 lb kettlebell and even more for some excorsizes.
I just subscribed to your videos. Please keep them coming. I am trying to get my local Golds Gym to spend the money and get a trainer certified in kettlebells....until then, I have you!
Interesting tool. I think I once read a book in which Sir Lancelot got much of his great strength from "swinging" some sort of unusual weight. Maybe this was it. Glad I learned something today.
Thank you for posting- am a newie and it has helped me.

Great advice! Most people don't understand just how important warming up is to a workout.

Hell, that alone is a good workout for kettlebell beginners. Don't think I could do much after that warm up! lol
