  • what a deep trip from the brain to the soul greetings from italy

  • Co to je za sračku??

  • Yenisei Punk was kind of a big thing in Europe when it came 1995. Much bigger than anywhere else. Maybe you people were just too busy on listening Pandora and E-type during that time. :)

  • well it's rediculous that the song is thought here to be a sort of folk music from Tuva. but it's not. it's just a russian old-believer spiritual vers.

  • This is one of the most amazing songs that I have heard. I love it.

  • 1 dislike? Seriously?

  • This is russian folk-song

  • these men are our true origin RESPECT FROM TURKEY

  • sounds like a russian cristian ortodox psalm with some throat-singing ... odd mixture, chilling and scary though ...

    :)

  • Er, for those asking for the translation...

It's basically the story of Sodom and Gomorrah from Genesis 19, the first set of lyrics up until the start of the karygyraa is a discussion between the angels and Lot, then the angels are pleading for Lot to leave quickly. Then, the city of Sodom, young and old, surround Lot's home, he comes out to calm them down. Everyone tries to get away from Sodom, Lot's wife looks back and becomes a salt pillar as Sodom is destroyed. That's pretty much the story.

i live in europe(france) and i know this...you tube is not the only way...

  • @TheModjoh But its the quickest and most flexible. Probably the best.

Internet is changing the world radically. Soon economy, philosophy and all that stuff will change. Paradigm change coming kids, hold on.

  • @TheModjoh Apparenty they will play in Borderline in London on 22 May 2011, 19:00. That is closer to France.

  • Wow I'd love to be able to sing like that, as if gutural singing wasn't cool enough, being able to do this should be amazing.

  • Is Yat Kha a well known band in Russia?

  • Such a powerful piece. It gave me the chills when I first heard it many years ago and still does.

I must have played this cd countless times.

  • what do you kniow about russia?

  • I first heard this after copying it to a throat singing mix tape made back in 2000 and it is still, after all these years, the "HEAVIEST" tune ever, imho. The combo of simplicity, sparseness, simple accents, and solemn melody are pure magick... not to mention the backwards 'scary' outro. If anyone ever hears something deeper let me know.

  • BEZZAKONJE PREKRATYT

wonderful lyrics. this is mindblowing creation.

  • do you know lyrics?

  • i just understand russian language, so i understand what is said and how :) also i lived in soviet country in soviet union times, so lyrics are much deeper, when you, for example, compare soviet union to sodom and gomorrah.

  • This made my body tremble, when I first heard it. Magnificient.

  • vive le monde turc!

  • now i want to go to Tuva.
