  • Thanks this is very helpful:D

  • How long did it take you to shoot and edit this entire video? Also I am getting into video editing, and I just uploaded a short movie I made earlier today, will you watch it and give me any tips on it?

  • wtf, ramen takes 3 minutes in the microwave!

  • I like that soup!!!!!!!!!!! XD

  • I'm hungry now :D

  • What I learnt from this video:

    1. Mr. Noodles only takes 2 minutes in the microwave.

    2. Some people actually need to be told to cut their videos.

  • This is actually quite a good tutorial. Second video from top when searching "video editing tips." I'm just getting into editing. I've never made a youtube video, but I've got a mass of footage of me dog walking that I need to turn into something. Not sure what to do yet. This tutorial really helped.

  • hey mate if you make a video like your how can you put a background on it?i mean like harry potter movies!please help me!

  • @AJChannelTube green screen.

  • @NegativeClock thanks mate!:)

  • That's Awesome

  • And sorry it doesn't work because you put all details in then take out the fact that you put seasoning on in the first and made it seem in second he ate seasonless noodles in second video which is extremely tasteless lol

  • Whats the best free video editing software for pc, Cheapest, then the Best with no Price boundaries.

  • Shot 12 and 15 ain't good, how can you eat it without the powder?

  • wtf dont break the nudles!!!

  • Hello, my name is Ryan.

I love to edit videos and make them look spectacular.

Editing software to complicated? Don't worry! I will do it FOR YOU! I specialize in video editing of all kinds. Check my channel now!

  • yeah, you need to work on your audio....not very good in that video

  • @StoneWashburn I made this three years ago, when I was in college....So...I'm better now. I'm pretty sure I just recorded the voiceover with a $10 mic I bought from Wal-Mart in like 2007. They probably don't even make them anymore. I have a yeti mic now, and if I do more tutorials (which I may sometime), they will sound a lot better.

  • @billgrip Yeah, sorry to be rude. Your audio is way better now.

  • @StoneWashburn you need to work on your personality....not very good in this lifetime

  • I thought he was gona put the spoon in the microwave xD

  • YOU RACIST SON OF A GUN

  • I cook mine for 3min

  • I know how to eat noodles now.

  • Oops, misspelled the word 'quicker' in 5:03

  • what the technique called when you shoot all the different shots of the same activity? Thanks

  • This is a bit confusing.

  • Damn! I surprisingly watched the whole thing xD

  • Why did he put his hood on? It's not right and I don't appreciate it. lol XD

  • You didn't put the spices on!

  • waste of time!!!

  • Although the 'effective' VIEWER would notice the time on the microwave. It took him 5 minutes to turn around. :P

  • good video. today i edited my first video and thought i belonged in Hollywood. But this never crossed my mind. thanks.

  • I needz software baaad! any suggestions?

  • Very useful for those without experience in editing!

  • mmm :)

  • im in the mood for noodles now

  • At 5:03 you have a typo on your note. You have qucker-paced instead of quicker-paced. Bad post production. lol

  • Oh man! Worst nightmare!

  • @amiga2091 lol i didnt notice that

  • @amiga2091 and you're a moron for pointing this out.

  • @twelvestreets I'm a moron for pointing out a typo? Aren't you the uneducated fuck. Oh and don't send me any more private messages. I have you block you little troll! :)

  • xool

  • that was a cool tutorial. good job on the actor's part too.

  • Hey i need some help can somone help me? I was wondering how do you take other videos like a youtube video or any other video that you didnt make or film yourself how can you take that and put it into your own video like with windows movie maker thanks!!

  • There is an application you can download for firefox, I can't remember what it's called...but that's one way of doing it.

  • you can download youtube downloader, there you can donwload video from youtube . . .and make it your own

  • @FerreiralovesFerrari really easy.....Download Real player. Once you download it, everytime you scroll over a video a pop up will allow you to download the video onto real player. Once you finish downloading convert the file to a windows media file. Then it should open up in movie maker.........

  • @FerreiralovesFerrari you contact whoever did film or make the video and get their written permission to use it... otherwise you can be sued, or charged $600+ each time it is viewed. Using others material without their permission is, in the entertainment world, stealing.

  • @HnMFilms2010 Thanks!

  • @FerreiralovesFerrari just google it homie its easy, lots of websites too

  • @FerreiralovesFerrari flashgot

  • Effective Video...

  • thanks for the tip dude! Looking forward to more!! cheers!

  • i was about to say at the beginning "oh look a cooking show!!!"

  • try editin snowboardin vid some times u want them extra frams to make the transitions better

  • Cool!

  • Thanks for this very much.

  • You forgot adding the soup spices scene, could have added that as a split second and couple of stirs before tasting the soup. Oops. But good tutorial anyways.

  • Somebody please help! I try to get my footage from my DV to my computer but the footage always comes out black and white and blurry when the original footage is clear. I dont know why its doing this please help!!

  • I would say it could be a problem with the cable you are using to upload, but it is most likely a problem with your camera.

  • ppl who have WMM and want to make better video edits switch to AAE cs3 or 4

  • When it comes to editing is there a difference between Pinnacle and Windows Movie Maker? I been using WMM for my videos and I'm pretty adapted to using it. But lately I'm interested in Pinnacle.

  • Pinnacle has a lot more options as far as transitions and effects. WMM is pretty basic, so you'll be fairly limited the more editing you do. Pinnacle is also fairly cheap compared to other editing programs, but like I said it gives you a lot more options. You just gotta take the time to learn how to use it. Check out some of my other videos, I've been able to do lots of cool stuff with pinnacle.

  • lmfao i have the same microwave

  • ok im showing you some of the video try's ive done with sony vagas 5 your welcome to delete them as you wish but i will study your video's

  • i have vagas5 any other tips like software wise?

  • this is a big help for beginners in video editing like me keep it u thanks........

  • glad to help.

  • I find this very helpful for my video editing. Thanks.

  • Good deal, happy to help!

  • Who cares. That's not what the video was about.

  • your scared of boiling water...WTF

  • Nice editing tutorial, but who cooks noodles like this? This is very dangerous because when water is put in a microwave it doesn't boil. it only gets super heated, which can cause extreme burns and etc. Shoot i would just cook mine the normal way to be safe. ha. but yeah this video was pretty good, and my videos will get better because of it. Thanks

  • Who cares, that's not what the video was about.

  • great vid so helpful :)

  • Thanks!

  • can u post the video editor u used? or recommend one which is freeware?

    would be awesome, thanks

  • I use Pinnacle Studio 11...I know there's better stuff out there, but I like that one. Its about 100 dollars if you want the ultimate version.

  • THE best editing programs are adobe premiere pro or final cut by apple. you can't get them for free unless your a PIRATE. you can probably find them on eBAY though.

  • Or you could buy them legally...

  • you forgot after affects cs3 and 4

  • oh right my bad, after effects is the best for visual effects.

  • microwaved ramen? seriously? sick....

  • I'm a noob, and I found this useful. Thank you Billgrip!

  • good video, you are a professional!! jajaja

  • That's some good tips.

And btw I just finished eating a bowl of noodles =P

  • ha thanks for the tips your really good

  • note the added music

  • I mean if you havent learned this yet i think that is time for you to pick up a book

  • This is mostly for noobs.

  • There was no diff in vid.s Biznatch..

  • Haha, okay. You mean between the one at the beginning and the end?

  • Brilliant. You deserve more views :)

  • Thanks, Bill...very helpful! :D

and yes, those noodles do look good! ;) haha

  • oh and some underscore would help too. but maybe you can tell them about that in the next Tutorial :)

  • did i mention i hate ramen.. ugh i lived off that shit for 5 years

  • that was a fun Tutorial.. i think this video would have gone virul if you left the silverware in the microwave lmao.

  • kool, this is very informative! good vid

  • 4 stars, billy. that was pretty cool and actually quite educational. high 5.

  • Good job, Bill!

  • ty bill

  • Also audio is really important...

    BoundlessProductions

  • Yes, I agree. If I were to talk about audio it would have to be a seperate video.

  • Yeah for sure... You could have played the audio over it though... It makes it seem like they aren't seperate clips... Like the noise from the fridge or microwave...

  • The effective editing is great and all, but all of those problems can be avoided with good preproduction, and good production. Great tips for beginners though!

  • I agree, and I am actually just starting to fully realize the importance of preproduction.

  • That first sequence was driving me crazy! Probably because I am a video editor as well and I notice all these things... it must have been annoying to be purposely trying to mess up. The end was a relief... Nicely done, Bill.

  • Lol, yes I did have to purposely try to screw that up. It was actually harder than making it right!

  • Yeah I can imagine

  • JERKED OFF TO ALL OF THIS...THANKS! xp

    on a serious note...

    great stuff!

  • I, unfortuantely, have a camera that isn't really very compatable (sp?) with youtube. I upload videos and I cannot load them to youtube. Mostly, I am just a view, not a maker. (Also, I don't have any experience in any sort of video editing. So I have absolutley no idea how to do any of that. :|

  • yay for ramen!

  • thanks for the help there bill! this will certainly help me with future video projects for youtube :)

  • Thanks! Editing is okay...and I agree that it is worth it, but sometimes it just gets old.

  • That was really helpful!

Editing like that sounds kind of tedious, but worth it in the end. Editing is actually my favorite part of the video making process.

  • I use to edit like that lol!

  • Top Ramen FTW XP Nice video, Made me think alot about my editing :D

  • Good deal! Share this with your YT friends so that everyone can benefit from it.

  • I hate editing. lol. good tute

  • The funny thing is...I hate editing to :)

    It's a pain.

  • You sure know more abouth videomaking than i know. But yeah I have 2 years with media before i can edit prossesionarry(wtf i cant write today)

    Good Jobb bill:)

  • wow thanks bill :) this could really help out some new video makers.

  • Good! Please help get this video out there.

  • GReat points. I have a lot of YT friends that have no idea how to put a video together that keeps one's attention. I have lots more to learn, but I am an eager student and always try to improve. Perhaps L cuts and J cuts are for Editing 1B but I find those help move a story along at a smoother pace too.

  • I agree, I have a lot of YT friends like that to.

Do me a favor and help spread this video.

  • great tips :)

  • Thanks!

  • Hey that's a great tutorial you got here. THX.

  • i guess i'm the first to comment:) and watch

i think a lot of people here on youtube should watch this video, it would make a lot of difference if they edited their videos. Some just upload a not-edited video and it's boring to watch. I already know about this because i study film, but a lot of people out there don't, so, good tutorial :)

    XXBieke

  • Thanks! I agree with what you said...and I'm glad that you liked this video. Please share it with your YT friends.
