Good guestion, but no. Liquid Snake used Glasses just to disguise himself. You do know that Liquid Snake controlled Ocelot? You see, Liquid Snake never had to use glasses, because his eyesight was good.

@OfficialWBGchannel wasn't Ocelot just acting like Liquid to fool the Patriots? anyways, he's pretty old by MGS4, so I always thought it was just age getting to him and him protecting his eyes when he was in the desert, because he doesn't wear them in the last fight (maybe that's why he lost).

still, your explanation makes a lotta sense, but Ocelot's eyesight was fine in MGS1, where he could hit you with a rebound, so I never thought of that. still, there is 9 years between 1 and 4, so...

Poor guy... Neither Sorrow, nor Snake deserved any of the unfathomable sadness and agony that life put in front of their way. This is one of my most favorite scenes in MGS 3 because of how symbolic and touching it is. Thanks for posting this scene.

Ok when i was playing this scene is was like 12oclock at night and stormy outside i was a little scared i got to the end were he says "Wake up snake" and the scream comes across the screen and the controller vibrates RIGHT at that moment when the scream was over the power went out, i was so freaked out i couldnt even talk

The only ones you would run across, then, are the Cobra Unit. Even though you didn't technically take their lives, they killed themselves for failing their mission (I assume that's what the explosions were.)
