This touches my heart so deeply! To see the wonderful people of Poland singing Sacred Harp with passion and piety is so moving! It has been 4 years since I was in Poland but not a day goes by that I do not long to return to visit my beloved friends there, and too see Poles singing in the treasured tradition that Southerners hold so dear makes me long to return even more! Blessings from Louisiana, Blessings be upon you all!
Also, I suggest that, if you want, you could try singing indoors in a small room with plaster walls and ceiling and a wood floor. The "sound box" effect of such a room makes it much easier to sing -- as long as it doesn't echo too much.
