Some downloads from the links it finds on file sharing sites might but it is EXTREMELY rare and I never got a virus from a file sharing site before. It has no control over the content on it, it just searches networks daily and finds links and indexes them in the search engine. You probably clicked on one of the ads on the site to get a virus/trojan/ect and I never got a virus from it and have been using it for a year now.

@henryhitchcox Some files may be locked and you have to search for a password from their source, if it isn't located there find another download link for what your looking for that has no lock. Links from Mediafire never have a lock and it is the best file host so search there for your stuff first. Avoid Letitbit and Rapidshare when you can because the first one is the slowest possible option and the other try's to endlessly bully you with max wait time so you buy a premium membership.

You got some very nifty tips but this is the first one I'm having problems with, the same as the previous chappie. If I use download helper to snatch the file when it's playing, the file I get isn't an mp3 at all. If I right click the link it's still not an mp3 file, and if I click the link I just get another flash player with the same problem as before. Help!
