A beautiful, heartfelt poem. You wrote, 'in your imperfection, you were as close to perfection as God could give.' I think that is so true. And many of us regret believing some of the media lies that were out there. I too hope that Michael in his new home in the Neverland called Heaven, will forgive us our judgment of him. Hopefully, we can live the rest of our lives committed to not judging others - and ourselves so harshly. Because we are all beloved children of God.

Maybe an hour or so. It had been a couple of weeks since he had died so most of what I wanted to write was already in my mind. I haven't really written that much for a while now besides what I've already made from a couple months back, but I am reading a lot more.
I need to expand my vocabulary as much as possible because I may need it in the future. You should do the same.

I just wish I didn't believe everything that the media aired, because after they kept repeating the same BS over and over I eventually thought they contained some credibility. He had to die in order for me to realize the deception.
There is a lot of deception in this world, and people need to know the truth about a lot of things, even if it isn't necessarily convenient. I intend to make a contribution.
We both have the same situation. Admiring Michael as young children, and also not knowing better and listening to the lies. It was his death that also woke me up. And actually listening to the lyrics of his songs and now being old enough to understand what they mean. Very touching poem man. Great job no one could have said it better 5/5

Took the words right out of my mouth. This poem is beautiful and reflects the way I felt about him, The first time I ever saw Michael was when he danging Blanket over the balcony. Not the best first impression. Then, I started to hear all about his plastic surgeries and his nose falling. Then I heard about the child molestation charges. Luckily, my seventh grade teacher showed me (and my class, though I don't they changed) why Michael was famous in the first place: his music.
She was a big MJ fan and tried to convince us that he was innocent. I then began to consider the idea. Luckily, there was a TV special on MJ a few dqays later and I found out about what a great person he was. I decided to let the courts decide for me. One day, I walk into my 7th grade class to find articles about MJ found not guilty. I was so happy! I didn't want to think of him as a child molester. As I got older, I grew to love him more and more as I learned about him.
I even started to fall for him sophmore year of high school. I'm in love with him to this day. Now I know enough about Michael Jackson to know that he is innocent, no matter what others say.
I feel pain deep pain for him!!! thank you so much i like it a lot i'm actually crying right i also feel guilt because i feel that that if i had the change i would of helped him be a true friend of his!!!!! He just wanted to be normal i stop and i think of my life what do i need to change i am truly touch your poem cause i feel the same way too!!!!

that was beautiful i cried the whole time but i think that if michael was here he would be proud of your kind words and he would except your apology with his famous i love you more he was such a remarkable person with so much love that no matter how hard they kicked him while he was down he got right back up and said i forgive you it takes god like qualities to endure what he had to and still smile this world will be empty without that smile
very touching...the saddness over his passing just can't go away; i suppose it's beacause he means to many of us such "elementary" things...and now we must do without. Even if we still have his music we also have to deal with the harm that was done to him and with memories of him being covered with garbage...all this pain he had been through and so undeserved...and with the coverage of his death it just seems it isn't meant to stop ...the media madness should stop now for his chldren's sake!

Yes, Bashir admitted that after MJ's passing. However, Bashir's malicious narrative comments and "creative" editing of his "documentary" on Michael were so manipulative an disgusting. Bashir is disgusting as hell!

Yes, he never knew what childhood was,
