  • HEAVEN....

  • säckpipa äger.. yes

  • Great mixture of voices and pipe. Hard to match those as the pipe has limited range.

  • Combination of 4 things. Gospel, bagpipe, Amazing Grace and a hot piper.......

    I dont know.

  • How THE FUCK did this get so many views?

  • @hjalteyhjalte55555 i think you better go to church

  • @5433429 LOL NO

  • @hjalteyhjalte55555 LOL YES

  • @34RiverStone I'm not christian, 'cause i'm not baptized. But i live in a christian country

  • @hjalteyhjalte55555 Oh. Well, incase ur athiest, in my opinion, u should try it, but ofcourse u shouldn't feel pressured to. But this got a lot of views because amazing grace is a beautiful and well - known song, and the person who said "i think u better go to church" didn't like ur swear word, and that's why 5433429 said thaT

  • My dad told me the other day that he wants this played at his funeral. He's only 42 currently, but I can just see the funeral now... What a great piece.

  • @CherokeeMaxx I hope it will take many years before you have to say goodbye to your father. I lost my dad many years ago, and my mother past away 5 years ago. I miss them every day. But I still feel they are here with me in a way. In a good sense. These are the rools of life. Sons and daughters will say farewell to their parents. It is tough, but it is nature. I know my parents were proud of me and my family, so I think their passing was not a bad way to leave this world. God just had the need.

  • @CherokeeMaxx I have made it known to my family that i want this too, im only 1 year older than your Dad. Ir's a fantastic piece of real music !

  • @CherokeeMaxx

Hey dont wish your dad away likethat, I am a dad approaching the end of his journey and nothing would make me feel better than one of my children saying: please daddy, dont go

  • This is the most wonderful version of 'Amazing Grace'. I always look for it when I want to listen to this amazing song! Thank you, @hfranke07, for a big pleasure.

  • While attached to a unit in the British 2nd Army during the Bulge, I saw a piper play and march off to the unknown with a combat infantry group - never forgot the sight or the sound. The tune at the time was Scotland the Brave.

  • We just crossed 190.000 views. Wow.... this is great. Would you help me to reach 200K before new year?

Send a link to your friends, family and coworkers. My normal rate is 5K a month, but with your help we could make it.

Thank's for watching and comment on this video.

  • Beautiful...

  • Very Well played Henrik :-) ..... Greetings from Varde

Superbe!

  • Cheers to you all and thank you for looking my video. Now I have crossed the 100.000 line,- just over the top. This is really great to have so many visitors. Best wishes to you all.

  • i think this is so beautiful. one of the best i have heard of Amazing Grace.

  • The author of Amazing Grace, John Newton became a Christian believer during his stint in the slave trade, and subsequently required that all slaves be treated humanely.

Nothing much gets me to tear up.

He later left the slave business and became a wildly popular minister in England.

  • That's awesome!!

  • does not matter, the lyric-mix-up.....the sentiment is heart-felt and an all time favourite of AMAZING GRACE.....who can ask for anything more....this surely enlightens my soul and i'm thankful for whoever posted it xx :-)

  • The bagpipes sound great!

Excuse me, but I have to ask: is this the former, now existing, remains of, or future Sønderborg Gospel Choir? Ahhhhhahahahahahahahaha Please don't kill me.

  • Just curious here, did they forget the rest of the words?!

  • Some folks sing a couple of verses of Praise God, Praise God,,,,,, at the end of Amazing Grace. Many small country Churches here in Southern USA do that.

  • can't quit listening to this. Beautiful! It's relaxing and comforting!

  • Superbe!

  • Mae'n hyfryd

  • diolch yn fawr iawn

  • Fantastic good boy (I'm Welsh) well done - am byth am byth

  • Since this is of so big concern from some of you (2 out of 53.000 views.....) i have changed the info text to remove all confusion regarding this choir,- and maybe MsGospelgirl should change your username into Gossipgirl. Would fit you better....

  • Henrik, this is a very childish way to respond to a simple request. The information was incorrect, and it meens a lot to at least 60 people.

Thank you for changing the text though. Nice pipe.

  • It gave me chills over my body..

    Oh My God.

  • Amazing Grace! Beautiful version, very touching and nurturing for the soul...

  • he's playin amazing grace too fast for a slow air tune..

  • I didn't set the pace,- If you look very close, you see at choir and you might hear a band...... I was playing the speed set by the band and choir...... they didn't as me..... hope you can forgive me....... cheers

  • NOTICE! IT'S NOT SØNDERBORG GOSPEL CHOIR SINGING IN THIS VIDEO!!!

Type in : ride on king jesus sønderborg gospel choir

Thats the real choir! Love the Pipes and Drums though... ;-)

  • amazing

  • im on a different planet wen i listen

  • This song always keep remembering me,don't forget kiss your mom en dad, your sis en brother

    en don't forget kiss Jesus

  • I can only say what has been said before wonderul piping SOLO Perfect! GOD Bless you all. Nice Choir too!

  • wonderful!!!!

  • 30.000 views of this clip..... wow. I never thought so many would see this. Thank you for your mails and comments,- it realy made it great to be here on Youtube. Cheers... Henrik

  • this was absolutely beautiful ... thank you for bringing it to YouTube world!!!

  • Wonderful piping!! Played the way God intended it to be played, on the pipes!

  • i was raised in this area of the country. now i know why all this means so much to me now.. thx a bunch and God bless u each. :)

  • Great job and thanks for sharing it.

  • This guy can play the pipes. Playing it by himself too! He has skill. Simply beautiful.

  • I'm gonna have to go with trip and cherry here. The bagpipe player far outclasses the choir. As for giving glory to God, whatever you choose... but, I'm a big fan of bagpipes and "Amazing Grace" and I'll tell you that is one of the finest renditions on the pipes of that song I have ever heard, and I've heard many. I would find it more spiritually arousing and inspiring with the pipes only after the choir stopped singing. This choir (on this song at least) needs to behave as if they are alive.

  • Thanks for all the great reviews and comments. Love to get positive reaktions. If you need any info please get in contact with me here..... cheers

  • This is a truly inspiring mix of voice and bagpipes, even brings a tear to this athiest eye. Thanks for this video

  • ..it is true that the sound from the bagpipe does not mix well with the choir.....but remember the bible verse from Psalm 100 :1, it is all in praise to our Heavenly Father, thank you for posting this song.

  • The bagpipe player is excellent, the choir... is not. At least not for this song.

  • beautiful is all i have to say

  • I don't think the bagpipes mix well with the choir from a musical significance standpoint. Those pipes speak so well for themselves that it seems almost foolish to allow a choir to sing with them. They are perfect by themselves. I'm sure I'll get thumbs down for my opinion but whatever.

  • thats really good. Keep it up bro!!!!

  • Only Amazing T.T

  • one word awesome x

  • great video, Hi from an x tankie living in Sønderborg.

  • I am learning the bagpipes, and hope one day to be able to play in God's presence, what a wonderful thing....

  • i wish you luck

  • if you ever manage to play amazing grace please upload the video

  • it makes me cry!!

  • me too
