ohh i think theres something wrong with my game, I can't make that jump at 5 50 to the pole and i've sat here for like an hour doing the same bit. she just wont seem to get enough height to reach it! anyone else had that problem?

I think you should try the following:

hang to the ledge, pull up Lara, make a complete turn (end button on PC), try to stay in the middle of that platform. Push forward, jump and action button together. It must work!

What I wrote, its actually a running jump. You can jump the furthest this way.
