It led me to a depression,i found help with a former psd teacher of mine who also happened to have counselling and psychological experiences.It took me 2 full years to get out of it! My mum continues to hate the lgbt community cos she doesnt understand it. I stil get on with her only i denied I am gay to her.Now i live on my own, she still doesn t know and thinks she fixed me by sending me to priests and shrinks but i feel Great now!!
Omg if I ever found out my child was gay/lesbian I would be so happy! I actually commented something similar to this on another video, and someone said "why would you want your child to be gay? that's awful!". Well my child will always be my child no matter what, gay or not. I was bullied in high school, but it was my parents who stood up for me and taught me to move on and live my life the way I want it no matter what people say. So I will do the same for my future child. :)

On the serious side, as a Roman Catholic homosexual, this movie brings tears to my eyes. My family has been hurt by suicide recently and it pains me every time i hear of that happening, gay or straight. People should be loved and cared for, no matter their preference, and we should accept people for who they are.
On a side note, I'm religious, I believe in a loving God, and I believe in the power of Jesus Christ, the only son of God, that does not contradict my homosexuality

On the serious side, as a Roman Catholic homosexual, this movie brings tears to my eyes. My family has been hurt by suicide recently and it pains me every time i hear of that happening, gay or straight. People should be loved and cared for, no matter their preference, and we should accept people for who they are.
On a side note, I'm religious, I believe in a loving God, and I believe in the power of Jesus Christ, the only son of God, that does not contradict my homosexuality

This film is a life saver. I live with a very religious family. So I was cutting my self with a knife every time I thought of a guy. I was constantly thinking of suicide.
I think this film would decrease the suicidal rate for the LGBT teens and should be advertised.

I would not stop loving someone, or try to change them but you will, i would not make it a goal to turn someone straight, cause I think it's wrong, you will.I am not talking about you here, but look around, that book is ruining the life of so many people.

cause im Christan and guess what? im gay too asshole. i know how it feels to be put down by many people, but if it weren't for the Christan's in my town i would of committed suicide last April. there are alot of christans out there who just relys on god wrath in religion. but there are also those who believe in the love of Christ. its all about how you interpret the bible.

@TheImpairedworld My family members are baptists, and i am not from america so the rules that baptists have here are just ridiculous. I've always based my beliefs on facts, and science. Unlike religion who doesn't want to be putt to the test, to be proven wrong, science demands to be proven wrong. The bible has been proven to be a plagiarism of many different ancient stories, myths and characters. But i do not disrespect other peoples believes either. As long as they don't try to change mine.

As one who loved Bobby Griffith personally, when I was boy myself, I'm so glad that you've been led and possibly instructed by good, loving people, and that you were dissuaded from harming yourself! Poor Bobby unlike you and I, never knew a loving and compassionate G-D who loves all of his children unequivocally! I'm just trying as best I can to inform everyone who was moved by Bobby and Mary Griffiths' story, that it all happened a very long time ago!

I love this film.
Over the years we have seen some great achievements regarding LGBT Rights,,,But we shall never stop until we have full Equality before the Law.

tale of Bobbys' tragic death, portrayed in this movie! I've got to see it
myself. When Bobby and I were young and seeing each other, attitudes
were markedly different! Though there's still a ways to go to achieve
full queer(LGBT) inclusion, it appears that the paradigm shift in thought
and attitude is in full swing! Bobby and I could only dream of such a time!
