do you have a link for the hooker mid pipe? do you know if they'll fit the stock manifolds? and if i decide to get LT's later down the road, would i have to buy another mid pipe? sorry for so many questions, I'm just trying to decide what mid pipe i want and its either o/r x bassani, pacesetter, or hooker. And i love how your car sounds.

No it will not fit the stock manifolds. It is a "shorty" midpipe because have longtube headers. You'll need a normal midpipe. As of now, with stock manifolds, i'd go with either bassani, hooker, vrs, or magnaflow x pipes. All of them are great products and a true x design. Thank you for the compliments!

@racerjj55 It was a great easy flowing install! Borla makes a great product. As far as stock manifolds, o/r x and stingers... they still sound damn good. For some reason, at idle, any setup with LT's is more quite than any given with stock manifolds (considering u have stock cams), has to do with the backpressure. But under a load, i prefer the sound of stingers o/r x and LT's. Its more of a "clean, Crisp" sound opposed to more of a raspy "paper in fan" sound of stock manifolds. Make sense?

@racerjj55 If i may... i suggest an o/r prochamber instead of a o/r x if you're sticking with stock manifolds right now.  You'll get that deep rumble and "refined" sound. O/r x and stock manifolds really sounds like a 350 chevy truck when u hit that 2500-2800rpm tone. Just sayin... lol.

I cant see it affecting the sound much at all. I mean LT headers are LT headers.... some have a slightly different design and different bends, but i cant see it affecting the sound much

I'm not sure if either of the 2 brands will fit an auto. You will most likely have to call kooks or hooker themselves or a dealer. I'm sorry i can't be of more assistance.

Your headlights are big and dorky looking. Headlights should not extrude that far into the fenders.

Being a Mustang owner, I bet you worry about that everyday, if someone is going to comment on your ugly headlights. I bet you park at the back of parking lots, so as you're walking towards your Mustang you can convince yourself that it is good looking.

wow ur car made 20 more horse than mine, but the same torque. and only things u have that i dont are the aluminum ds and the LT's. thats strange. i have the borla non aggressive catback right now with an o/r x but im swapping with my buddy who has stingers in like a week or so. i cant wait. but your car looks and sounds really good. kudos bro. i just tinted mine, and am doin shocks struts springs and cc plates soon, and a termi front bumper and cobra r hood. im souped.

the alum ds makes for a 12.5% drivetrain loss as to the stock 15% Crank to rw difference.

As for the longtubes.... Man... they really open a car up! Not as much as companys claim, but most def the best mod i've done so far.... especially on the sound factor.... at lower rpms its so much more mellow sounding... more "exotic if u may." Very unlike a the harsh "paper in a fan" sound you'll get in some 2v's around 2500-3000rpm.
