I've talked to some friends from India. Most Indians are actually seething with anger about the way the Chinese are killing Tibetans. The only reason the torch was allowed to pass quietly is that India is waiting for the right opportunity to liberate Tibet. Once the global community gives their support for the liberation of Tibet, and Japan, S. Korea, Taiwan, Vietnam, Burma, EU, US and Mongolia and Russia (if possible) line up behind India in this noble cause, India would liberate Tibet.
I hope the recent massacres of unarmed Tibetans will lay the foundation for the disintegration of China now. I know China isn't treating Tibet as much as everyone likes, and believe me those pictures you have up there are present with every war in history, whether it has to do with the chinese civil war itself or the fight with the tibetians.
Yes we should listen to them, and help, but seperating the two countries would only further damage their relationshipes. For example the mass province of Chengdu would become a border country, and MANY people would die.

I've talked to some friends from India. Most Indians are actually seething with anger about the way the Chinese are killing Tibetans. The only reason the torch was allowed to pass quietly is that India is waiting for the right opportunity to liberate Tibet. Once the global community gives their support for the liberation of Tibet, and Japan, S. Korea, Taiwan, Vietnam, Burma, EU, US and Mongolia and Russia (if possible) line up behind India in this noble cause, India would liberate Tibet.

Two things prove, beyond a shadow of doubt, that Tibet is NOT a part of China
1. The Great Wall of China clearly demarcates the border between Tibet and China
2. The Tibet-China treaty of 821 A.D., inscribed on the stone pillar at the Jokhang temple, Lhasa, which shows that China had a non-aggression treaty with Tibet in 821 A.D., meaning that Tibet is a FOREIGN LAND and NOT AN INTERNAL MATTER of China, like China claims. It's purely a military occupation by Chinese army of a FOREIGN LAND
