And Red River isn't more realistic than dragon rising. Is the other way around. Red River have added unlimited use of magic health packs that makes health go up to 100%, there are perks, more HUD, the AI is even more idiotic, the bullets aren't lethal to the player, the levels are scriptet, and so on.
@RedRiverChannel There's certain areas which are more realistic aspects in both of the games. The thing is, as a medic class in Dragon Rising, you can just poke a needle into someone, wait 10 seconds, and viola! They're perfectly healed, they've stopped bleeding, etc.
At the end of the day, it's just a video game, we play them for fun.

The sales for Red River are terrible in general and the Codemaster's Guildford studio is closed, with 66 emplyees loosing their jobs, while Codemasters will focus on racing games in the future.
I have this game, it's fun, strategical but not realistic at all like Dragon Rising. It's also way to short...within 2 weeks you will have gotten every achievement and have done everything in the game. In Dragon Rising it was more realistic which made it unqiue because no other game released for the 360 was that realistic. You also have to spend a lot of time ranking up...ALOT OF TIME...i have had the game for more than 1 year and I'm only a 1st Lieutenant. Buy Dragon rising over this.

Red River is a sequel to Dragon Rising. Dragon Rising was already a broken product. A sequel is supposed to be improved, RR is not; they’ve actually removed more than they’ve added in the game. I know red rive was a sequel to dragon the name operation flashpoint gives it away. Sequels mean improvements? There's no map editor, SDK, drivable tanks, APC, aircraft piloting, no multiplayer, no freeroaming. The AI is WORSE than in Dragon Rising. The graphics is terrible aswell as the gameplay. Bugs such as dissapeared gun is still in there since dragon rising. And, the Devs that created it are liars (esp.Sion Lenton), that lied to people about dragon rising to boost sales,released shitty DLCs such as island tour, and on top of all they droped the support for the game.

One with the maps being all open and not being a corner every 8 steps It looks Like Afghanistan Open toaming hills love it. And with aiming down sights!! No, that makes the game more retarded. It's OFP. In OFP you're supposed to be able to play the campaign as a infantry soldier, pilot, and tank commander.
And Red River isn't more realistic than dragon rising. Is the other way around. Red River have added unlimited use of magic health packs that makes health go up to 100%, there are perks, more HUD, the AI is even more idiotic, the bullets aren't lethal to the player, the levels are scriptet, and so on.

@RedRiverChannel There's certain areas which are more realistic aspects in both of the games. The thing is, as a medic class in Dragon Rising, you can just poke a needle into someone, wait 10 seconds, and viola! They're perfectly healed, they've stopped bleeding, etc.
At the end of the day, it's just a video game, we play them for fun.

I have this game, it's fun, strategical but not realistic at all like Dragon Rising. It's also way to short...within 2 weeks you will have gotten every achievement and have done everything in the game. In Dragon Rising it was more realistic which made it unqiue because no other game released for the 360 was that realistic. You also have to spend a lot of time ranking up...ALOT OF TIME...i have had the game for more than 1 year and I'm only a 1st Lieutenant. Buy Dragon rising over this.

This game's dialog is crap. They swear a lot and have a lot of cheesy phrases, to appeal to the 13-years old cod players. The gameplay is dull and boring. It has no resemblece to the orginal flashpoint. Seriously, you can take a shot to the head, the enemy AI is retarded, and you can even use PERKS and shit. And there is no map editor, SDK, aircraft, tanks..

Red River is a sequel to Dragon Rising. Dragon Rising was already a broken product. A sequel is supposed to be improved, RR is not; they’ve actually removed more than they’ve added in the game. This game doesn’t deserve to be called Operation Flashpoint and It’s developers, ARE liars despite some minor fanboyism from people like you.

I know red rive was a sequel to dragon the name operation flashpoint gives it away. Sequels mean improvements? Lol ever played DA:O and DA2, Cod4 and MW2, Socom3 and Socom4,etc. All of those went bad real fast. It has the name Operation Flashpoint from its developers so that is name of it. The developers promised and delivered and i never claimed to support it mainly it's common sense.
Finally, whats the point of this campaign? It has no goal no point no purpose. So its best to stop it.

It seems like you do not understand; Neither Red River or Dragon Rising delivered what they promised - especially not Dragon Rising which was built on lies and false hope. Even the hardcore fans at the official forums consider him as a liar, and that both dragon rising and red river didn't deliver what the were suposed to.

Don't buy this game people.
There's no map editor, SDK, drivable tanks, APC, aircraft piloting, no multiplayer, no freeroaming. The AI is WORSE than in Dragon Rising. The graphics is terrible aswell as the gameplay. Bugs such as dissapeared gun is still in there since dragon rising. And, the Devs that created it are liars (esp.Sion Lenton), that lied to people about dragon rising to boost sales,released shitty DLCs such as island tour, and on top of all they droped the support for the game.

@Osranu I don't know if I can call it an improvement compared to Dragon Rising. Dragon Rising might've had less action but was realistic. This one is full of action though and it's still tactical while doing it. My only problem with this game is why the hell can you max out your levels in like 2 days? I loved playing the multiplayer and showing off my rank in Dragon Rising. ''Hell yeah I'm a 1st lieutenant, don't fuck with me and listen to my orders'' that was so much fun.
