@tosendprashan each tile measures 4 inches by 4 inches. measure from there. but yeh dont believe me. doesnt make a difference to my fish :) dont forget that my pond is 5-6 feet deep. fish look a lot smaller wen they are at the bottom...
@tosendprashan are u getting confused between my RTC and RTC/TSN hybrids? anyways none of them are 24 inches anymore. the hybrids are like 38 inches and the rtcs are like 42-44 inches...
@jl3Dc5 They have jumped out before but very very rare...i dont feed them bugs. they eat dead fish from the markets so they are conditioned not to jump for food...
@baplagito no they get plenty of oxygen and water movement from the 3 pumps pumping water through the pond and the waterfall acts as a natural aerator since it picks up plenty of oxygen as the water falls :)
under the wooden deck is a partitioned cement filter with ALOT of filter media such as cotton, bio balls, brushes etc etc. there are also 4 pond pumps pumping water into 4 points in the pond, hence creating a flow of water.
the oscars are doing extremely well in the pond! very well fed and FAT! i just didnt film them much in this vid since it was mostly to show all the arows together!
i promise to film them more in the routine feeding vid coming in 2 days :)
The biggest looks brown cuz of the suntan! who woulda thought that fish cud tan! remember that the colour of fish are always different in tanks and ponds! which do u prefer? brown or silver?
I do not have to worry about water temp since i live in malaysia. we have a tropical climate here similar to the amazon!
@ badasschan - they do not try to jump out of my pond due to the large amount of open space so they never feel trapped in a corner. i have also never fed them insects so they dont usually jump for bugs! i have only had one incident in 4 years but luckily my maid was there to save him!
Wow, very nice pond

Do you heat the water because aros can't survive in temperatures lower then 85.
