What a wonderful tribute to the Jean, Mary and Cindy! I look at this masterpiece of a song in a whole new light!

It was probably the Nylons who had a hit with Up the Ladder to the Roof a cappella that inspired all these college vocal groups to sing it.
It is amazing to hear the song stripped of everything we Supremes fans ever associated it with: a female voice, a trio, glamorous sequin gowns, lush orchestration, and of course the soul of Jean Terrell. And the songs still works!
I would be there's at least one more hit in store for Up the Ladder to the Roof.
