I didn't presume anything. All I was pointing out is the photo on the cover of the 1959 Canadian-American Records album.
We have all seen the live performances on YouTube where Santo is playing "Sleepwalk" on his Fender triple neck custom with the trapezoid shaped pickups.
@billfishoc The ORIGINAL single has Sleep Walk as the title.. check wikipedia there's a picture of it there..and BTW FWIW the guitar Bobby calls a "Frying Pan" is known by most as a "Fry-Pan" but it's just semantics after all. The playing by Bobby is superb as I've already said, it's just the lack of diligence and the wrong usage of the title that irks me somewhat.
Superb tone and execution by Bobby.. Just one point, the song/tune is called Sleep Walk.. TWO words.. Check Wikipedia or the originators record label or web site..
I know you are an excellent steel guitar player and very knowledgeable about steel guitar music.
I have to point out as I am typing this, I am looking at my original Santo & Johnny album with the original record. The song is clearly "Sleepwalk" on both the album and the record. This is the song on the Canadian-American Records album with the Farina brothers on the cover dressed in suits & ties, Santo playing his T-8 Fender Stringmaster and Johnny playing electric spanish guitar.
I met Bobby at Wayne Henderson's house in the mountains of Virginia when he was about 6,000 miles from home! He was one of the nicest and most humble people I ever met. What a national treasure. Thanks for the tunes Bobby. Hello from your friends on the east coast!
Nancy, I am happy to find your youtube channel. This video with Bobby is hauntingly beautiful. My wife, Diane Aiko Suzuki, is a world music DJ on KZFR radio in Chico Calif. she will be playing some of these nice sounding videos on her program.
Oh my oh my! Bobby is magic with the steel. Doesn't it sound just so sweet! Love this sweet, kolohe man! Mahalo for sharing these videos! Mahalo Bobboy for all you do for Hawaiian steel guitar.

@diegorolling86
This Hawaiian steel guitar that Bobby is using for this song is a 7 string Rickenbacher Hawaiian steel guitar.
