This is a wonderful rewording of the song - Amazing Grace. I am humbled by the way he turned this in a wonderful song with the uplifting words that everyone can relate to. The Spanish Flavour is really, really good - love the horns and the drums and the back-up vocals are spot on. Simply put - Pretty Amazing!!!

I don't believe the one true God is into killing people or having religious factions killing each other. I'm Christian, and I don't want to kill anyone. I used to just dismiss Neil as one of those slimy sissy singers. Neil has come out and confessed his love for Jesus. Therefore, I had to pay him a little mind. Not only was I surprised at how talented this rascally feller is but I an now a fan.

This is such a superb song! Neil does a splendid job singing it and his voice hasn't changed a bit. And YES, he still looks great for his age which is almost 70. Just looked it up yesterday. He's still 69. I highly doubt that he had any plastic surgery done.

Thank you so much for this song. My Mom passed away last week and we would sing this song together, as I would dance to it, it made her laugh. She was full of life.

RIP momma campo 1/5/38-9/19/09, one child died 6/16/06 how ironic 3 years, 3 months and 3 days, he was 42, her other son died at 36 yars old on 5/21/04 so she had 2 angels to take her to meet JESUS!!!

Those are ear monitors, if you look closely there aren't monitor speakers on stage. Ear monitors are more accurate and relyable. dream theater use the same.

Haha! We all got fitted with ear plugs at work recently - H&S shit. The company who did is said that they had just "done Madonna" ! (with the same kinda earlplugs but with speakers built in) They have treble and bass speakers built in and molded perfectly to your own ears. As stated, they are ear monitors and lots of bands use them now in preference to stage monitors. II you want to listen to your iPod in perfect sound, anyone can get them done for a mere £200 or so... Oh for modern technology!

Any live performance like this one at Glastonbury would've been remarkable even 30 yrs ago. But in 2008, at nearly 70 years of age, with new music & new energy like this, it's just awesome. "Pretty amazing" indeed, & the definitive answer from Diamond to his pompous detractors on whose dismissive deaf ears his music has fallen for 40 yrs!

The 20 or so songs from the show, all of which seem to on YouTube, are crying out for a "Live At Glastonbury 2008" album to rival "Hot August Night".
