  • brianw793 I think it's Geraint Watkins, he usually plays piano

  • Who is the bald guitarist? I have seen him before and he is an awesome finger picker!Big Brian

  • It's funny: He's British, but he sounds American when he sings (NOT bashing, it's just weird). A lot of them do though, I wonder why...

  • Dave ROCKS!!! AWESOME!!

  • Love those riffs.

  • Love it rockin with Dave Edmunds

  • Love Dave for ever,,

  • IF you're name is Larry and you don't have a comment button on your page... THIS IS FOR YOU (WITH LOVE)

  • Glad he left out that asinine 'name dropping' that was featured on the bridge of the studio/.radio version; It short of ruined a good cover of this tune. This one is better!!!

  • There you go yeah this is workin!

  • You are spot on MonacoBlast but if you can,t get it live, then you may as well listen to a good recording....

  • If this does nothing for you then your dead

  • @josephalan56 Does wishing I was dead count? 'Cause I prefer the weird out of sync studio version.

  • @MonacoBlast Just worked out how to reply to you..Please read below for my comments..

  • me think's this is Dave's one and only great hit the best so don't mess with best cos the best don't mess.. Dave he don't mess..

  • THE WELSH WIZZARD! " SMO'KIN!"

  • WOW!!! WOW!!! WOW!!!!

  • Tele-fest!

  • "Dave Edmunds" should be a synonym for "happiness" in every thesaurus.

  • bueniissiimoo!!!♥!

  • The best line is from Fats Domino's cover of this one:

"If you would've listened a long time ago,

You wouldn't be goin' from door to door."

  • Simply great - like it !

  • How much of this money went to Smiley. Davy boy, very little I'd guess, do you not at leasat have a little conscience, Elvis robbed Smiley L ewis,

  • Would you please FORGET "age" and focus on the fact that GREAT MUSICIANS remain GREAT MUSICIANS...this was fabulous, thanks so much for posting. Wish I could find Little Richard's version!

  • GRAND DASDS ROCKING AT THIER BEST , AWESOME

  • Perfektní big beat !!!! super song !!!

  • Sprechen zein Yiddish?

  • @Enofrappini - nein. I am Canadian.

    But you can't come in.

  • Dave Edmunds - backstage talent, latent and powerful!

  • The only thing about this tune is that guitar riff; It grinds a little too much. Otherwise, it's OK.

  • Dave is my cousin :P

  • @sammirobin No kidding! Really? see if you can talk him into touring the U.S again, particularly the Upper Midwest, like Chicago Saint Paul! I try to catch his songs like Let It Rock, They Called It Rock, Promised Land, to name a few here on youtube. The really good ones were recorded in Germany I think as they have a certain three letter broadcast abbreviation on them. With Billy Bremner and Nick Lowe. Those and the version of Dave playing Sabre Dance in Seville Spain. Man those jams are HOT!

  • An oldie but goodie-love the song!!!

    eaglelover771

  • there are some songs i love until my ending day. and this is one of them.

  • Great song - great Dave - unforgettable !

  • Going down memory lane!!!!

  • Among the essential rock classics.

  • The great Geraint Watkins on keyboard, the ineffable Dave Edmunds on strings...it's still fabulous, even after all these years!

  • 2 people can't come in...

  • Great song. Dave looks good. I remember listening to this on my AM radio when I was a little kid, and I'm old.

  • Awesome song, but i made it 2 dislikes cuz i can

  • Oh Brother Dave...still shit kickin and rock n roll.

  • What can i say ? Excellent , that's what ! Kick it Dave !

  • Dave Edmonds at his best. When he's bad, he's good. When he's good, he's unbelievably brilliant!

  • Great song, great performance by Dave and the band, and great video.

Unlike most crap videos on Youtube, this video is in perfect sync.

Even the drum hits are in perfect sync with the sound.

Good to see a real video here.

A good live performance makes a studio version sound really flat and lame.

  • This song was 40 years ago no.2 in the world charts #dave #edmunds

  • Good to see DE still alive and well and playin'. Love to be in a group with him.

  • Pino on Bass! Well that's the first time i've seen him with Dave .... A proper jobbing bass player... BUT - what is that Dave has got on his Tele' ... effects? roland pre- amp? Taint nuthin like wot i got ;)

  • Possibly the only teenager that thinks this is great music

  • @gkb911 me2! i'm only 16! but love the blues since I started playin' guitar at 7 years old! first the rock parts, than bluesrock and clean blues.. But I like some metal too

  • @0oDaantje12o0 Haha i play guitar too, i;ve only been playing 4 years, i have some videos up, but there all old and don't really represent what i play like now

  • @gkb911 My camera sucks, so I don't have any vids on. maybe we'll post something from our metalband soon.. but probably we break up soon because our singer want to sing more in 'Anouk'' style, and i'd like to play more rock (and bluessolo's)..

  • @gkb911 Good for you GKB, there is plenty more out there.. check out WJMW on Fabebook

  • 1 tit who dislikes! Knob!

  • I still love D.E.... Classic.

  • I love this song.

  • Not bad.

  • his voice is less rasppy now - i think than earlier when i really effin loved him!

  • traditional, not like his record, which had an off-kilter charm to it

  • good cure of rock'n'roll

  • This song was 40 years ago no.2 in the world charts #dave #edmunds

  • This song was 40 years ago no.2 in the world charts #dave #edmunds

  • MacGiver?

  • One of my favorites, I love Dave Edmunds and his Band!!!!!!

  • I wonder who is running onto the stage at 1:09 when the solo kicks in...

  • this song is ftw screw screamo

  • Kick Ass Song! WOO HOO!

  • song record very cool!

  • The guitar player wearing the glasses is Andy Fairweather-Low.

  • OK from this video i can tell that these guys were/are good live. i have been trying to explain to people that the band "a day to remember" sucks live. o and that they just plain suck all together. but more the first, and they just don't understand what i am saying although i word it exactly "they are they worst band i have seen live". of course if they listen to shit like that then why argue all all huh?

  • This guy is one of my Favorite Rockers! Last time I saw him was with my Brother Pat and Jay Lowry, Sporty, Cate Bauer at the Phantasy in Lakewood, Oh.

  • does anyone know if this concert is available on dvd?

    look you

  • Great song great playing!! Lovely fat semi accoustic in the background.

  • Great song!

  • Great, just great !!

  • What's the doodad on the butt of his Tele?

  • Might be for the cordless set-up.

  • @rug3r44 it's an old version of a B-string bender, probably the Fender hip bender, operated by rocking the guitar against the players hip. That's how Edmunds gets such a wide string bend without using a whammy bar or tremelo arm

  • @mryaesu Looks as though he's got the low e and a string hooked up (for palm) on that hipsot as well as the b bar on the butt.

RIP Mickey Gee, you were the best in Wales...

    See ya'

  • EXCELLENT!!!10/10*

  • He's aged a little but the voice and the music remain true.
