Tom and Marks voices together compliment each other so well, I just don't like hearing one without the other it just doesn't feel right. I don't want to leave out Travis either he's just as important as Tom and Mark imo.

The difference is that AVA is much more than just a band. Tom has even stated that AVA's entire purpose is to help fans view music, the arts and life in a totally new perspective. If you saw Love the movie you would understand that he isnt trying to make a band that is 'better' than Blink 182 in any way shape or form... he is redefining what we see a band and its music as.

You see, this is why I kinda hated AVA. Tom seemed like he was dissing blink, Mark, and Travis. I was pissed. So I ignored AVA. I don't now, but those feelings still linger. I mean, don't get me wrong, I love AVA, but I felt a little betrayed as a blink fan when Whisper came out. BTW, this video has 44 dislikes at the time of this posting.
I can understand how people that don't appreciate this style of music can say he is arrogant and over confident, but AVA's (espec. We Don't Need To Whisper) albums are utterly and truely fantastic and because of this I can understand where he is coming from. Their music that has helped me through some challenging times of my life and I am grateful.
I'm not gonna say poor tom, because i respect him so much for saying everyone of those statements! Sure they were a little over confident, but he was right. After listening to the whisper album, i was amazed! AVA had and Still does have potential of being the best rock band right now! I heard what he heard, but people are just too fucking arrogant to listen and acknowledge it!
I can imagine exactly how he felt. Though AVA and their first album, may have seemed beautiful and something an angel would write, with all his amazing perspecitive, and views on life, inspirational music, well may not mean so much to others. but i have heard of people not killing themselves, etc. because of AVA, which is AWESOME! one of the many great things of being an inspirational artist. Tom (through music) just gives what world needs at the time, and it takes someone with a vision, and ego, and some arrogance to do that....there's nothing wrong with that...its what winners are made of ! Hes the kind of guy you may think is a bit of a asshole in the moment...but later...when you see the end result, the vision. what he was trying to achieve, you then realize all of that stuff was absolutely necessary, then you appreciate and thank him. Thank You Tom!, AVA was the best thing ever!

It's funny how they thought at the time they would become bigger than Blink and they didn't even come close, barely topped +44. He had a good run with ava but if he really wants to be in the best band he should just leave ava like he did to Blink and focus all his time back into Blink because they truely have a chance to be bigger than they were but hes gotta stop treating Blink as the side project cause ava will never be anymore seeing how its fan base is 98% Blink fans who enjoy Blink more.

@njwolf2k9 Dude... AvA is over. The "Love" tour was their last tour. Hes is back to Blink. Also, none of them "left" blink. It was meant to be a temporary thing. Plus, a true Blink fan will say AvA, +44, and Boxcar Racer werent bands, they were "projects" like they said. So hes not thinking blink is the side project. Its his main project.

And I don't think that AvA is over. I think they will exist for another few years and will go on tour once again.

I promise, ava is not a sideproject, it's something he loves and he will never stop. I gotta say, a true blink fan would love everything what that man is writing.

@khart0126 I agree with you alittle but Blinks new album is pretty deep lyric wise and lots of their older songs have some strong powerful meanings aswell I wouldn't say its all fun as a band Blink has matured alot. Tom and Marks voices together compliment each other so well, I just don't like hearing one without the other it just doesn't feel right. I don't want to leave out Travis either he's just as important as Tom and Mark imo.

@sloppygran Just because they have more albums does not mean they are better. +44 was supposed to come out with another album after travis finished his solo aibum but then he was in a plane crash and then Blink runited. They formed +44 only because Blink was over but now their back.

The difference is that AVA is much more than just a band. Tom has even stated that AVA's entire purpose is to help fans view music, the arts and life in a totally new perspective. If you saw Love the movie you would understand that he isnt trying to make a band that is 'better' than Blink 182 in any way shape or form... he is redefining what we see a band and its music as.
Blink 182, Angels and Airwaves, +44, and Box Car Racer are all incredible bands<3

You see, this is why I kinda hated AVA. Tom seemed like he was dissing blink, Mark, and Travis. I was pissed. So I ignored AVA. I don't now, but those feelings still linger. I mean, don't get me wrong, I love AVA, but I felt a little betrayed as a blink fan when Whisper came out. BTW, this video has 44 dislikes at the time of this posting.

I can understand how people that don't appreciate this style of music can say he is arrogant and over confident, but AVA's (espec. We Don't Need To Whisper) albums are utterly and truely fantastic and because of this I can understand where he is coming from. Their music that has helped me through some challenging times of my life and I am grateful.

After listening to the whisper album, i was amazed! AVA had and Still does have potential of being the best rock band right now! I can imagine exactly how he felt. Though AVA and their first album, may have seemed beautiful and something an angel would write, with all his amazing perspecitive, and views on life, inspirational music, well may not mean so much to others. but i have heard of people not killing themselves, etc. because of AVA, which is AWESOME! one of the many great things of being an inspirational artist. Way to change your life for the better :)
