The problem with the new Miata is it looks very modern! When first introduced, Miatas were a hit because it reminded people of the 1960 European roadsters. I think the new Miatas have loss that connection and distinctness! The winning formula is what Carrol Shelby did, take a small, lightweight roadster from the 1960s look and give it lots of power! The original Miata gave people that feeling. Today's Miata not so much, I prefer my 1996 Miata to any of the new ones for this reason...

I've got my 99 NB a few months ago, and always wanted to test a NC out. I'm a Miata lover for life. Only thing i hate is the lack of trunk space, but It's makes up for that by making it so fun to drive. And no the miata isn't a women car, i've seen more women drive: Mustangs, Hummers, and other shit more then miatas.

i have owned 2 miatas. and, ya' know what? i will ALWAYS have one. yes, i own a few classic muscle cars, too, a black smokey and the bandit trans am and a 87 buick grand national. but, this car is my DAILY DRIVER i think it always will be. just think: it is engineered perfectly, gets great gas mileage, handles wonderfully, is a convertible, has looks to boot. and, it is so small that it is hard for other cars to hit! i have never wrecked one yet. so, there you have it!

I hate the deep rocker panels and big smile grille in the front, it makes the car look to happy. I got the jaws grille on my NB and it gives it s nice evil and mean look. Kinda weried how they add the bumps over the front tires to make it look muscuar but then add a smile to the front. . .
