A flawed game. Although i do have to say this IS the most difficult rpg you will ever play. Even harder than Dragon Warrior 2. Plus the soundtrack is excellent. In my opinion of course. But like I said, this isn't no kiddie game fellas. Play at your own risk!!!

This game is ridiculous. Christ, I don't think I've died as much in an RPG as this game, honestly. An LL challenge in Secret of Mana blindfolded is easier than this game.

@thisbarb Funny thing is, we got the hard version. (which was rare at the time) See why it was so hard was because of this:

In the Japanese version, minimum and maximum stat gains went up 1 for every 10 levels.

In the US version, this was not the case.

@ultrazeldafan basically this means that at level 10 instead of getting 1-5 hp, you should get 2-6. (note: not exact values, just estimated) It doesn't seem that much like that but here's another example. At level 40 you would still get 1-5 hp, but you should get

The town theme? Might have gone with the second overworld theme, were I to pick a title from this game. Tastes do differ.

Ugh, this brings back some rough memories, though. Kids, don't time-travel alone. Take it from someone who's been there. Thought I was all "iron-man" for going it alone until then...when I learned the value of teamwork, especially when the universe itself is out to get you. =P

this game is prolly not as popular as other RPG's back then. I enjoyed it but never got to finish. Don't know where this tunes been wandering but it has defineatly been found somewhere in my memory.
