I play HON and i played dota for 1 year..

I think dota has a special old school feelin which i love but hon is much better...

Faster play, more teamfight , even in public teams buy wards+courier which i have never seen when i played dota..

The bad thing in both game is that there r lot of noobs and retards. In dota if u lost a game nothing happened but in Hon the is PSR (points) and if u lose u lost PSR which is really annoying!!

@theonetrueGiraffe I have played a total of 2 games in HoN, so I can't do a good comparison between the two games. I know for sure that HoN has a lot more sponsors, tournaments, etc, so in that fact alone, it has Dota beat. Whether the game is actually good or not, that's up for debates, etc.

Like Lumi said, HoN has DotA beat on sponsors and tournies, but DotA 2 is in the making. They're basically giving it a face lift (so all the heroes and items will still exist!) and adding a lot of new functionality (Google it for more info).

So what I'm thinking is once DotA2 is out, more sponsors will be interested and more tournies will exist.
